    They had another trades in the works with Zona to move up to 3 and couldn’t give up the capital to do both. So they were fine with either quarterback and would have taken BY had we taken stroud.

    Signing Dionte to a deal would be such a waste of cap space and his time. Nice player but hes too old to be in the long term plans and he will want to get paid. Use that money elsewhere, like defense.

    The Luke and Cam picks are enough to make him drafting God among modern day GMs... throw in Peppers and 89 and he's sitting atop Mt Olympus... its the other stuff and FA that did him in. I think was directed by ownership to give some of those crazy contracts out... but in the end he has to own it.

    Tepper is the guy that thinks he is the smartest guy in the room. He creates his own data and own reports and thinks it is gospel. Its what worked form him in his hedge fund investing in distressed assets and he thinks it will work in football too. But its not.

    Hurney is by far and away the best GM we have ever had. Had Matt Rhules slob ass listened to him we'd have traded up and drafted Herbert.
