    People are stupid. Cam didn’t get hurt because of his running ability. He got hurt chasing down an int that KB loaded on and later again from a one in a million shot in the pocket via TJ Watt. it’s a stupid uniformed narrative that his running did him in.

    I hated Roman after the cheap shot he laid on Smitty. Then he came to play for us and I liked the presence he brought. I saw him prevent others from celebrating on us and I came to appreciate that swagger. Not to mention if you get to interact with him he's a really cool guy.

    They didn’t give up a ton. It was a fairly reasonable trade. but yeah it not about position. It’s more about evaluation. We see it time and time again, the best players don’t end up going top 5.

    Ughhhhh this silly line of thinking again… Josh allen went 7th, Mahommes went 10th while Baker and Sam went 1 and 3 overall. draft position doesn’t guarantee you a better prospect. Its more about good scouting and a good situation for them to land it.

    But the Stafford trade did work. Can’t say “if It didn’t” to justify your point. Acquiring Josh Allen took two trades that included their franchise LT and two first round picks for the bills to move up from pick 21 to pick 7 to draft Josh Allen. Saying it wasn’t a haul isn’t telling the entire story.

    it does work, it’s has worked and it can work again. Josh Allen and Pat Mahommes both drafted as a result of trades. Stafford won the rams a super bowl and we all know how he got there. it’s not the trades that are the issue… it’s the talent evaluators and the situations the players wind up in.

    The idea that losing games to move up in the draft is the only way to win later is such a brain dead line of thinking. the best qb in the game was drafted 10th overall by a team that went 12-4 the previous year and traded up to get him. Always win.

    Wilks is the dude. Get him a legit oc, Frank Reich, and trade up to draft a qb. No need to over think this. He has the locker room. He’s the guy.
