  1. The level of dysfunction on mint street is out of this world.
  2. I cant see any reason why he would come here. He doesnt need the money and he as GOD status at Michigan.
  3. Cant do that until the team is good on the field. Because they arent going back to Wofford? It was an antiquated way of doing things and its main purpose was a way for Richardson to pump money into the school he went to without him having to give it to them directly. They've been trying to get away from that arrangement for years. I dont think it has anything to do with their attitude towards fans in SC.
  4. Granted but it’s not going to change his current trade value to a 4th.
  5. yall really upset abut no more Wafford? the only reason it was there was because Captain Jeans Day went to school there. Who gives a fug if they move it? Not like Spartanburg is some cultural hub with a buncha attractions... it has the Beacon and u can see the peach butt on the way down... thats it.
  6. That is what he wanted to do originally.. its what he did with his soccer team... and he will prob end up doing it for the panthers eventually.
  7. Dude hit the redeploy drone and flew the F away from this mess.
  8. I think it was the 16Bs and an all cash offer that got him that.
  9. Unsubstantiated rumor... but lets pretend its legit.... How'd that work out?
  10. I am certainly not talking about present day Tepper... this is 2018/2019 big Tepp we are discussing. He didnt buy the team and have any idea what he was doing, not to say he does now... but at least he had an excuse back then. Owning 5% of the Steelers didnt groom him.
  11. Well yeah... that's also the same time he declared he had learned what he didnt know and how it was time to put his stamp on the football side of things like hed done on the business side. I'd say he put on helluva stamp on it!!
  12. Bottom line is Tepper addressed this and categorized himself as a rookie at running a team when he bought the Panthers. You can prob find the video.. . its out there, I believe its from the time when he fired Ron. 5% just wasnt enough to matter.
  13. This never made sense to me... the guy sold it for $43.5 mil... then Tepper tore it down... why would that guy he hated care? He got his money and moved on. Not like he took the house from him at gun point.
  14. In regards to football operations... thats exactly what they do. They dont have a choice. A 5% share doesnt override the guy that owns the majority. They'd just tell him to take his money and go elsewhere.
  15. No, this is how it is. There not enough time btwn the drat and the start of the season to prepare a rookie qb to start and fix his mechanics. By the time the draft has happened half of the offseason is gone. And the player still has to move, get settled etc... Mechanics is months and months of daily work to develop muscle memory. You cannot do both, its one or the other. Just not enough time.
  16. Running a football operation isnt easy... theres some science to it and some luck... and you gotta have both on your side to be successful. If it were easy we wouldt have all these butt teams year in and year out.
  17. Minority owner that had no say in football operations at all... thats like me owning stock in coke, doesnt mean I know how they make the products.
  18. You just need to wait for it to load (10 seconds or so) after you paste it into the reply box.
  19. why would we lose leverage? Devonte tried that and the packers got a 1st and a 2nd round pick for him.
  20. The dysfunction in that organization is crazy. I am glad its getting called out publicly.
