REPORT: Panthers changed the offense 3 times last season
CBDellinger replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yall… they are saying they changed it 3 times in the OFFSEASON last year. 3 times before they played a dang game. -
How do you invest in depth when you need starters at 3/5 positions on the line?
-
And one or two of those fights will be pretty darn good. Dana can match em up!
-
You don’t put a starting qb out there behind the 2nd/3rd string line.
-
I wasn’t there to count them myself but “Darian” Gantt said it was 50-60 snaps and I tend to trust that smarmy mouthed yokels reporting.
-
More like… the starters just played 60 snaps Thursday… no need to play them in a meaningless August exhibition game 2 days later. We all know how bad the Thursday night regular season games are… right?
-
And if someone important gets hurt it’ll be the dumbest strategy ever according to everyone regardless of how they felt before hand. That’s just how it goes. “HINDSIGHT IS 50/50”

Appears to be a screen. That’s my guess after seeing 2 seconds of the actual play. Not that context matters round here.

Would the Carolina Panthers move on from QB Bryce Young?
CBDellinger replied to jayboogieman's topic in Carolina Panthers
Of course they would and they easily can. great thread. -
Wishing you all the best Mr Scott!. We go way back so please let him know I’m thinking of him.

We talmbout the no. 5 overall vs the no. 32

87 rode the pine as a rook and 89 couldn’t get a snap outside of st wr is a tough transition as most guys can only run a third of the route tree. A lot do that is dude to the gimmicky offenses colleges run nowadays. Anyone expecting xl to dominate in year 1 is setting themselves up for disappointment. He will prob provide more highlights in sound bytes than actual plays on the field.

This is the year we go from suck to blow.

Tepper paid over $2 Bs in cash for the team and we have fans questioning why he wants to be kept in the loop?
-
Walton is Walmart money and he owns the Broncos Harris owns the skins… Teppers worth is 3x that of Harris and the kicker is that most of it is liquid cash. Thats why he didn’t need an investment group… he stroked a check for over 2 Bs when he bought the panthers. That’s rare even for mega rich people.

The county owns the land the stadium sits on and leases it to the panthers. I think they just got a break on the property tax for the land (even tho the team doesnt own it they still paid taxes on it). Btwn that and the tether/accelerated payments for leaving, both sides have a decent amount of skin in the game. I dunno if you remember the hornets got the "new coliseum" on tyvola for $1 a year. But LOL at legislation at the national level... the last thing you want is the federal govt limiting the power of the states and local govt. C'mon now. I do agree that giving these rich owners public money is a crock of bullshish but this is how these things work in 2024. Maybe that'll change some day.
