  1. Agreed I think we can have both though. Defense that knocks the snot out of you and finally an offense that isn’t predictable and consistently puts up some REAL points, which of course equates to wins.
  2. Bruh you get it. Levis would set us back two more years and potentially get a good coach fired while doing it.
  3. Agreed I have seen him play multiple times too. He crumbles in big moments at the college stage. Those kids typically don’t shine under the big lights in the NFL. Love his big arm, love his athleticism, but he has no “it” factor. I’m pretty confident he would be a mistake.
  4. Bozeman Foreman T Marshall CJ Henderson had a nice PBU then a confident pick to set up the field goal. He has always shown athleticism and he has been in position to make the play. He is no longer panicking and the confidence showed today.
  5. The more I watch the QB’s I agree. I don’t see a game changer outside of the Alabama kid Bryce. As everyone else has mentioned his size is truly concerning. Another reason I’m okay with winning. If we go QB in round one I don’t a top 5 pick being a bust.
  6. Not quite we need PJ or Sam need to start and complete at least 5 games to ensure we are under the 70% threshold so we don’t lose a 4th. I believe it’s 5.5 games to be exact. Lol I only know because I have been counting since game 3 when it was clear Baker was NOT the answer.
  7. I really think Henderson is just a confidence issue. He is typically right there in position and he panics or doesn’t turn his head to make the play. I want him to keep getting reps despite his struggle. Little changes and he will have some big plays.
  8. I get it and I agree somewhat, but Baker was bailing out of clean pockets as the line started getting its act together. He continued to run scared even after he watched tape showing he was bailing early. I think PJ just shows how bad Baker is. PJ gets into rhythm’s sometimes he can be very inaccurate or find a groove like last game. That 60 yards passing last game was in large part due to the game plan. I don’t expect PJ to look like as efficient as he did against Tampa every game. I do expect the line to continue to perform better and better with Campen coaching them up. If we play one of the other guys PLEASE let it be Darnold. He never had this type of line and I still believe he’s better than Baker. Baker should be option #3 on this team.
  9. If he can turn this team around and win another 6 games he will have gone 7 - 4 without the benefit of putting his own footprint on the team. If he hires the right offensive mind and QB coach he should be given every chance to succeed. Hiring a different head coach could lead us right back down a negative path. It wouldn’t make sense to change.
  10. Tell me about it. Then 2 years later just released the more expensive all-pro that we decided to keep. We literally had 2 of the top 5 kickers in the NFL on our team. Talk about lightening in a bottle .
  11. Why trade Corbett a cheap contract player that is rated as one of the better guards in the NFL so far this year?? He’s under contract next year too. We have to be able to attract talent to get better. Quarterbacks in the draft look at the line of their potential suitors
  12. Yeah but Sean Clifford will never be considered close to an NFL talent. I see your point though. Just makes me wonder if we should be concerned about Levis.
  13. Based on what you wrote I wouldn’t say you disagree completely. You mentioned several things that have currently hurt our franchise under Tepper and have caused our organizational demise. During the Chris Weinke year or Jimmy Clausen year I still don’t remember things being this low. Jerry was a creep in many ways, but even without talking to the media we could see his vision. Tough nose defensive minded football team that wouldn’t quit. He knew when we stunk and made changes the following season to correct the mistakes that were made. No one knows if Tepper has a vision for our franchise. The things that he says does not match the people he employs or his actions. It’s been 5 losing seasons with this clown and without a clear direction our fan base is arguably at an all time low.
  14. Will Levis passes the eye ball test at Kentucky, but no one really talks about him getting beat out by Sean Clifford at Penn St. and having to transfer to Kentucky. That raises questions for me. How can we expect Levis to lead an NFL team when he couldn’t beat a guy that won’t be drafted? I get the questions about CJ Stroud in the Ohio State offense, but when you watch the tape CJ looks like a future star. I like both prospects but it’s important to get it right this time. I hope our scouting staff looks at every potential aspect and scenario to uncover flaws for both QB prospects. Baker is fool’s gold. We don’t need to be starstruck.
  15. Nah competitive losses would be better. It’s hard to turn a fan base back in your favor if we continually get embarrassed beyond any hope or repair. I want a top quarterback out of this draft too. I just don’t want irreparable damage to our squad.
  16. That’s exactly how the Bills got Allen too. They kept swinging over the years until they struck liquid Gold
  17. After looking at his stint as coordinator and HC, I really see this as a PR stunt because so many were calling for Rhules head. We will probably be drafting top 3this year. That should get us one of the top 2 quarterbacks. I am still willing to draft Will Anderson if we get a proven quality free agent QB but drafting a QB sets your salary cap up for the long haul.
  18. He gets more and more confident each game. If he continues to improve like this watch out league!!
  19. Lol you guys are a trip. FIRE RHULE NOW !! Less than 12 hours later …….. If Wilks fugs up our draft I will be so upset !! Wilkes sucked in Arizona ! Get rid of him !! What do you want ??? If that’s the case most of us should have quietly accepted Rhule for his failures until week 17, and ask for his head on a platter then. I don’t think it’s probable for Wilks to succeed, but at this point let the man do his job, with his limited ability to make changes mid-season, without blaming him for his predecessors failures.
  20. That’s kind of how successful coaches are built. The most successful coaches come up under a great mind (coaching tree) and sprinkle in their own elements to grow. McDermott learned under Jim Johnson while Andy Reid was the head ball coach. John Harbaugh also learned under that regime so those are pretty good references or coaches to be associated with. I don’t know if Wilkes will work out but it’s kind of premature to say clean house. McDermott was fired and cast off once and look at him now. May as well see how it plays out.
  21. I hope you’re joking. Only position group that needs to be addressed is linebacker and overall team depth. We have a ton of young talented players. We NEED a quarterback to fulfill our true potential. Heck based on our draft position we will be in line for early 2nd round pick, we could get the 1st or 2nd best off ball linebacker there for sure. Panthers will be 4 years into rebuild QB is the ONLY call in a draft year where QB is supposed to be a strength
  22. I think Brady had more creativity in the route tree and spacing for our key players. The problem last year was Brady called the same plays over and over. That became predictable. Hopefully Macadoo has more rabbits in his magic hat.
  23. Hard to judge based on Rhules contractual control. Fitterer really hasn’t had the opportunity to build a roster yet. He has had to collaborate and compromise based on what Rhule wants. That isn’t typically the case in most front offices. Final say typically goes to the GM. Rumored Fittz has had more say this year, but it’s way to early to judge the draft class and free agent signings. I think he has earned the right. Most analyst and fans alike loved his draft this past year.
  24. Based on what I have seen this list is spot on. Chinn and Burns scores are a tad low. Luvu’s score is high in my opinion. Frankie Luvu had a better game in terms of tackles, but he dropped an easy interception. Hoskins flashed last year before going on the IR but he suuuuuucks this year.
  25. what sucks is that we are one game in and it already feels like LAST season ANOTHER lost season. I always thought the “I fixed it for you” line was cute but corny. Had to do it.
