  1. He said that? When? Was this part of that “Snow runs the show and Rhule is his puppet” Twitter thread?
  2. Yes turnovers would help our TOP, but this offense can’t sustain a drive once they have the ball. We need to pound the rock. Let the hogs up front play downhill. We need to incorporate the short passing game too. You want to help your QB get comfortable? Establish the run, and scheme some easy completions early. This is football, it really isn’t as complicated as people make it.
  3. To be fair, most teams don’t have backs that do what CMC does in the passing game. Foreman needs more touches though because we have to establish the run and move the chains. Time of possession is killing us. Hubbard can fug off.
  4. I know people have fired Corral into the sun after a couple preseason games, but does anyone seriously think he wouldn’t put up similar numbers to Young or Stroud if he was in their shoes? They are damn hard to evaluate considering what they have to work with.
  5. Bama and Ohio St. win nearly all their games. Must be the QB.
  6. I hurt my lower back in my 20’s. Gotta give him props and respect for toughness there. That’s gotta be rough. Just a game though, and I hope playing through that doesn’t come back to haunt him.
  7. McAdoo and Wilks could step in, but as said before with Snow certainly leaving too, the most seamless transition seems like: McAdoo HC Ryan OC Wilks DC
  8. Honestly I’d rather Rhule play PJ because I could at least trick myself into caring about a beautiful story of their undying friendship. If you go down with the ship, may you drown with great friends. I need a new hobby.
  9. McAdoo > Rhule as the biggest disappointment so far imo. T.O.P. Is killing us. According to Pro Football Reference: Our average drive time: 2:04 Opponents: 3:14 Simply can’t sustain a drive. Infuriating.
  10. I mean…Ian has done some good this year. Two of our biggest plays he’s been vital for. (His long catch and run week 1, and a fantastic 1 on 1 block on CMC’s longest run week 2) Its interesting that it’s Ian and then 3 guys as the #2 TE though.
  11. I’d really like for us to draft/sign a true free safety with range, and use Chinn as an in box SS or just a flat out linebacker. His nose for the ball and natural instinct are perfect for that role. We were basically gifted a new defensive tone setter with Chinn right after Luke retired and all they have done is neutered him.
  12. Remember us rushing 3 playing prevent defense, allowing the giants to answer with a TD in the 3rd quarter? Yeah me too.
  13. I see myself unashamedly missing the Cam/Luke led hype train for the rest of my life.
  14. Rhule is who he is. I’m far more disappointed in McApoo and the offensive performance. We are 2-0 if they were even close to average.
  15. I think we have plenty of big play ability, and we will see big plays all year. What we haven’t seen in two games is intelligent, drive sustaining ability. Getting cute on 3rd and short with deep contested passes for example. CMC should be working the short middle of the field. It’s basically automatic against a linebacker, but we aren’t seeing it. We have a run blocking line, so let them eat. Very disappointed with the offensive philosophy so far. I expected more, which shows you I never learn .
  16. Let me introduce you to thicc dawg McCall!
  17. Normally, we would watch football with a goal of winning, and I know that’s the point, but I feel there is a missed opportunity here. This team is a great mystery novel. Which part of the team will show up, while being countered by another shitting the bed? How inappropriate will our 3rd down play calls be? Which underachieving player for our opponent absolutely breaks our back? And ultimately how will we FIND A WAY TO LOSE? Mystery, shock, surprise, abuse. This is an experience with an array of emotions. We should be thankful. It’s boring when your team knows who they are and show consistency.
  18. Seifert gave us 1999. Had no defense but our offense was so entertaining to watch, and we didn’t even make the playoffs but it came down to the last week tiebreaker. One of my most nostalgic years. Moose. Walls. Jeffers.
  19. I certainly don’t hate him for the Rhule hire. He was the hot coach, and it was nice seeing aggression going for the guy he wanted. I also don’t hate the contract length or amount. It’s entirely Tepper’s money. Who cares. I just disagree with keeping Rhule for year three. But to be fair these are human beings, and that’s easier for me to say outside looking in. Tepper might like Rhule man to man. Just like any “relationship” it’s tough to know when it’s over or needs to end while actually in it. That being said, if we suck again and he gets year four, I’m setting the building on fire.
  20. My ignorant take is that although I like the dude, Brady makes it very hard to evaluate his coaching abilities.
