  1. There’s really no point until we know someone else is coaching the offense. Waste of time.
  2. I just found out you can buy Delta 9 gummies locally and don’t understand that at all (but certainly don’t mind.
  3. PJ has shown he can complete a forward pass before. Inexcusable game plan today. Sure he’s going to throw an interception eventually…but what’s the solution? Not even trying?…oh and then you let Eason make some throws? Start him then. I don’t know who’s idea this plan was for sure, but they can go ahead and no longer be near anything football related ever again. It would be a net gain for football.
  4. Then only run screen passes after two runs on 1st and 2nd. Imagine being down two scores and not trying to get first downs. Unbelievable.
  5. I understand being frustrated, but his response to his situation means I don’t have to give a poo about his feelings. He’s not the only one dealing with poo QB play, and yet his body language, effort, and attitude stand out in a bad way. Bye Fa Lee Sha.
  6. Also, McAdoo shouldn’t coach offense at any level of the game. I’m astonished. Baffled. Bamboozled.
  7. He’s trash because his attitude sucks, and he gives inconsistent effort on the field. He can’t control the QB, but he can control his effort.
  8. The more I look at the names brought up in this class, the more I feel this is an overrated class. Who is elite? Seems the two most physically gifted/good size are Levis and Hooker? One looks super raw and the other is old. Top two guys are surrounded by tons of talent, and one is Russell Wilson minus 40 pounds. The two guys from the state of Washington…one I need to see more NFL throws (Ward and his screens) and the other has a Rivers release with a Bridgewater frame. I’m just not seeing it. I’m open to changing my mind though.
  9. If Wilks turns it around with THIS OFFENSE, then you better bring his ass back.
  10. So…you don’t want them to keep pounding? You don’t “earn” keep pounding. You earn the results of fighting through adversity and keeping your head high through the trying times. It’s just something you do. Or don’t do. I prefer continuing to pound.
  11. Yeah. If by “toolsy” they mean “physically gifted” then I agree. But he is so unpolished. From what I’ve seen he looks like an athlete that throws hard. I do admit I need to watch more though.
  12. Baker. Rest bro. We need you healthy down the stretch when you’re not on the roster anymore.
  13. If you guys want to do this right, compare game videos of these prospects to Corral. Various channels do “every snap” game videos of these QB’s. They end up being roughly 8-12 minutes long, and show you all the snaps (good and bad) of the QB. Most top prospects will have a good arm, so I enjoy seeing the plays when poo hits the fan, and they have to go through reads, make a rusher miss, create time with their feet, etc. Do they keep their eyes downfield? Can they make the first guy miss more often than not? Can they throw from different arm angles? Accuracy in the pocket vs. on the move. Are they calm or nervous in the pocket? Do not just be a highlight video guy.
  14. There is NO CAM IN THIS DRAFT so far. I saw someone mention “well Cam wasn’t a clear number 1 either.” That lacks some context. There were “character issues” that had people tentative. There were questions of his ability to read defenses. There was one year against elite competition… But… He was arguably the most physically gifted QB of all time. He took a middle of the pack SEC team, and carried them on his back. He came back and beat Alafrickinhbama through his will. Heisman. National Champion. The MAN amongst men in the SEC. That isn’t in this draft. Stroud looks the best and he has guys open all game. Young is tiny and has to put his whole body in throws. Don’t tell me Corral is small but “tAnK fOr YoUnG.” Levis is raw from what I’ve seen so far. He (physically) is probably the best in the draft. Might have the most potential. Something is just odd about him though. Hooker. Old. He’s stronger and smarter than the 20 years old he’s playing against. Ward. Have to watch more, but I’m not seeing it so far. Need to see more NFL throws and something outside of screen passes. I think everyone had rose colored glasses for this class because the last one had a bad narrative. This ain’t worth tanking. Will Anderson might be worth that tank though.
  15. Anyone using preseason as the reason they don’t like Corral…well I’m truly baffled by that level of impatience and shortsightedness.
  16. Crazy how 3 of the 4 examples you used…are from Mizzou. RIP.
  17. So this is why I really liked the Corral pick. This preseason didn’t matter to me (I understand I’m close to alone on that). That argument has been had. Just stating my view. He has a lot of traits you look for regarding arm talent (release, off platform, velocity, short/mid accuracy), combined with enough athleticism and foot speed to be a threat, and to be a solid foundation for navigating a pocket with agility. I think taking guys like him is the right move. They don’t have to be Cam, but they should be able to physically make all the nfl throws, and have the athleticism to make the first guy miss and run effective boots that can turn into positive yardage. If we draft another QB in the next draft, a Corral type is preferable, and then you coach these guys and you just need one of them to click mentally.
  18. Goes back to simply putting players in positions to succeed (or rather, not doing so).
  19. well he’s the first player that always pops in my head when someone says “pocket passing statue.” When he played was the last time I enjoyed Madden games too. So he is stuck in that role (for me) forever.
  20. And I’m not saying I think he has 1st round talent. The point was I was asking if he was all arm and doesn’t have the mental part of the game.
