  1. That’s complicated though. We are the worst team, but I don’t think we are the least talented team. No quarterback, and an offensive coordinator who would ruin a middle school football team have really fuged the offense.
  2. Agreed. Look forward to seeing how he’s utilized.
  3. The trade is what it is, and the value we got in return is great for a running back (and a player with injury history). However, he isn’t simply a replaceable running back. He was grotesquely misused by our franchise, and I think that will be made clear in SF. He should have been used at least 50/50 receiving and running, and occasionally up the middle on those runs. Not hammered up the gut every possession. What a waste. His skill level is off the charts, and if used correctly (in space…fuging DUH) he is a difference maker and uncoverable. If he had proper coaching, his value would have been elite receiver value, not “never draft a runningback high” value. Because that’s not what the dude is. He can do it…but being able to do something doesn’t mean that’s what you should be doing. I look forward to him flourishing in a similar Deebo role, and being allowed to run outside on stretch zone plays. I know this is obvious to some, but the “running backs are a dime a dozen” crowd isn’t being fair to what CMC is. fug Rhule. fug Tepper. fug McAdoo. Here’s to the 2023 NFL draft. Hope the Hornets can hold me over.
  4. Hardest holes to fill. Some franchises go a decade or more not doing it.
  5. All I know is it would take tua Bryce Young to make one Cam Newton.
  6. I think Sam is a lost cause too, but too much weight is put on this. If you’re getting hit/pressured all the time, you naturally get conditioned to it. The occasional clean pocket ain’t gonna be comforting. You are expecting to get that ass blown up.
  7. Baker helped him get a feel for batting passes in training camp.
  8. If I see the same bullshit offense this week, I’m watching Gilmore Girls instead.
  9. Seems like a natural response to a coaching change, and trade rumors. This doesn’t tell us anything. Robbie just got traded too. Of course don’t buy a ticket yet. This doesn’t confirm he is being traded at all. There’s just smoke about it, and his family (Mom) is just reacting accordingly.
  10. He has a cannon. That’s not the thing to worry about. They looked like good balls to me. Added bonus…his throws passed the line of scrimmage too.
  11. The team can’t have ping pong but everyone here can sit on the toilet, posting to the huddle during work hours.
  12. Having the worst oline at Bama is like having the least expensive house in the Hamptons.
  13. Anyone arguing Young isn’t surrounded by elite talent is smoking crack.
  14. I don’t know. Ginn was uncoverable. Different speed. He just couldn’t catch. Robbie might be better if engaged and motivated. Too bad he hasn’t been since signing that contract.
  15. A day removed from yesterdays pain; if I was coach, I’d have a man to man with Anderson, basically give him one and wash yesterday under the bridge, explain why acting like that helps no one (including his reputation) and try to move forward. Remind him that the cameras will always find you, and that it was a terrible look yesterday. It’s easy to get blacklisted in this league, so you have to manage your image. Losing is frustrating, and the offense as a whole has been frustrating. We all want to scream. Then if it happens again…well that’s that.
  16. I think he’s the best raw talent too and honestly that’s terrifying. Incredibly overrated class because everyone hated last years class.
  17. Blessing in disguise imo. These guys won’t be at Bama or Ohio St on Sundays. This is the big leagues.
  18. Have to wait for confirmation. Also, not sure Stroud and Young are franchise guys anyway. They are just on TV the most, and are surrounded by the most talent.
