What’s your 2023 QB big board (including Corral)

Hooker is playing pitch and catch out there. Dudes WIDE open. -
Nah I like the mullet kid from Texas. He’s a haircut away from hard pass tho.

Cam was absolutely an elite runner. He juked like a running back at DE size. -
Come to think of it, he’d move better in that pocket if he slightly altered his gait.

No. That’s not what I’m doing at all. I had to listen to idiots say that about Cam his whole career. I’m not doing a “last time I checked, quarterbacks throw” ignorant statement. Richardsons footwork, throwing motion, accuracy, and overall consistency as a passer are elementary at this point. He’s years away, if it’s even possible to fix him at this point. Everyone loves a Josh Allen, but he is the exception. Fixing muscle memory is hard. By “floor” I’m saying worst case, because he’s such an athlete, if he flops as a QB, he can play another position on his 2nd team and someone will pay him to do it. -

You post implied that Malik > Corral because one will be starting and one isn’t. Which lacks any context on their situations. And Corral can run as well, and did so quite successfully in the SEC (although his frame, unlike Willis, means you don’t want to run Corral as much). I liked Willis, just not as a 1st rounder. In the 2nd/3rd he was worth the gamble for your stated reasons. I basically just wanted anyone but Pickett to be honest . -

What are you actually saying? You are implying, but be clear. -
Stroud’s pockets are essentially playing against a team with no defensive line. Tough to evaluate. Clearly he has arm talent but I need to see more adversity.

Yeah his floor is having to transition to another position. A floor that low is horrifying. -
When I turned the game on in the 2nd half, Penn St. was getting bodied all over the field. Stroud had perfect pockets, he missed some throws, and I saw a perfect dime to Harrison down field. I basically learned nothing new. Everyone knows he has a nice arm. He has good size. He’s accurate in his current situation. I didn’t get a chance to see things I need to see to evaluate a QB. Sounds like I could have seen him against some adversity in the first half, but I missed that.

Yes. He will be overdrafted if people apply the Josh Allen rational to him. Richardson is Cam if Cam was as bad a passer as F-150’s said he was. -

Bridgewater completes 70% of his passes. It doesn’t take a genius to figure out he’s one of the most accurate passers in NFL history… …It’s more complicated than that. -

No idea but if we score 30 I’m gonna lose my poo, be completely irrational all next week and absolutely horrible to debate with.
-
He’s absolute best move right now is to be a good teammate, support PJ, and show maturity in his current situation. He knows he played poorly, so playing poorly and being immature about PJ playing isn’t an option. So he’s doing the only thing he can, and there’s nothing wrong with that imo.

You know, I really think Corral is talented, so if we go QB, Levis would make sense because he may have the biggest boom/bust factor in the draft. One of them is bound to do something. -

Quoting so @Jackie Lee can see it -
Josh Allen opposite Burns. Wonder what that would cost…

Yes. I agree he hurt his foot. -

At least you admit that when you speak in absolutes, that’s just how you convey your opinions. It’s a rather abrasive way to do so, but now I know the baseline. -

So without knowing who will be the head coach, who will be the coordinator/QB coach, what offense they prefer to implement, never speaking with Fitt or Morgan, nor the scouting department… This is a fact? -

You do this a lot; where you speak in absolutes and ask people to go above and beyond to show proof of things that ultimately don’t matter anyway. If you spoke in probabilities then the conversation is fine, but you don’t do so. The Tom Brady example is tiresome, but useful because everyone knows about it. A fan could have been excited about Tom in the 6th round, and another fan could oppose them saying “How many QB’s in the 6th round have lasted in the league at all let alone won a Super Bowl. Short list. Therefore Tom won’t be anything.” And then he did it. The past can be fun for conversation, but it doesn’t really matter. Like Ohio St. quarterbacks suck in the NFL…until one doesn’t. Being “realistic” would be saying, “it’s highly unlikely that Corral, coming off an injury with, likely, a new coach, would get a chance on this team.” Not absolutes. The closest thing to an absolute, is that you, and me, aren’t as knowledgeable as we think we are. -

Bingo. Also that makes Richardson look even more raw as a passer. Oof.
