  1. Sounds like a guy just talking some poo/trying to be funny. If we trade him this fast, whether you like him or not, that’s an asinine waste of resources. I think I’m just gonna ignore any public talk involving “panthers” and “qb”. It just seems like that’s the only talking point for the team, and every Tom, Dick, and Harry throws poo against the wall right now.
  2. Why did you make this up? You were asked for a source, and your response wasn’t a source, but your interpretation of his practice routines. There’s plenty of evidence he isn’t a good QB without having to create another narrative out of thin air (unless you have an actual source).
  3. That would make sense. I also think the “Gase” narrative worked too. It’s easy to blame a players lack of success on the dysfunction of the environment, because sometimes it’s true. Players often find success in better organizations. And that is happening again to a certain extent, because it’s still true that Darnold hasn’t had competent coaches in a stable environment. But that can only be the excuse for so long.
  4. The only deal I have issue with; that we truly got fleeced on, was the Darnold trade. I can rationalize all the trades the day that happened (CJ, Baker, Gilmore), even the act of trading for Darnold. But the cost was wild, especially after Baker only cost a 5th a year later, making it look even worse.
  5. Is this a running joke here or do people actually have alts? Lol what’s the point in that. Just look like a fool and own it like the rest of us!
  6. I do root for Young though. I love his game outside of his size, and I hope he has a career where we can look back and laugh at how bad he looks at the combine, a la Brady’s skinny ass in boxer shorts lol.
  7. I get the case for moving up, and I still lean towards not, but I do understand it. I think largely how you feel about the quarterbacks makes you lean one way or the other. It’s gonna be a long wait for the draft. Exciting times. I’m still pumped by the staff we have.
  8. Not naming names, but I’ve had arguments with some of the trade up crowds loudest supporters who, during the season, didn’t like our roster when I was arguing that we were a QB away from being a playoff team. They went on and on about our lack of overall team talent. Now, I guess they have done a 180? Now we are a QB away and we don’t need premium picks for the foreseeable future. It’s just inconsistent, confusing, and humorous.
  9. Man this is why people hate Corral rippadonn lol
  10. I’d rather start Eason all year than Jones at $45 mil.
  11. The end of the day it’s the combine though. It’s a workout. It’s hype. Hopefully our staff already has their QB’s figured out. We already knew Stroud can perform consistently in ideal scenarios. We already knew Richardson is a freak athlete. The questions that remain about these QB’s don’t get answered at the combine, with the exception of the interviews if any of it actually matters.
  12. What alternate universe are we in where we believe if you don’t draft QB in the first 3 picks, you’re fuged? It’s so funny to me since we had two said QB’s on our roster at the same time last season.
  13. Trading to 1 and any variation of “safe” shouldn’t be in the same sentence.
  14. If you are picking around 22, odds are you don’t need to trade 3-4 firsts for a QB anyway. But to answer the question, I don’t think it would be that much more than what people are throwing around to trade up from 9. It’s already multiple future firsts. At that point, what’s another few picks going to matter? Odds will be great we look foolish either way. Odds any quarterback ends up being worth that cost are super low. Even established vets as we have seen of late. Just have to stay calm, continue to build the roster, and let the coaches coach. If a guy we love gets close to our pick, make a move, but this trade to 1 or 3 is pure panic.
  15. The part I quoted is what I was responding to.
  16. That’s FOMO and desperation talking. That’s simply not the case. Hopefully our front office keeps a level head.
  17. “Qdoba sucks. Chipotle is my preference but on Monday fug it we going to Moe’s.” -Josh of course
  18. I feel like Richardson will go #1 or he will be there at #9. I also feel the same way about Young. Shits gonna be wild.
  19. Ah that’s a solid point. So Cam was his age at Blinn? Hadn't thought of it like that.
  20. Everyone waiting for the Young height measurement. Been a talking point for the last year lol.
  21. They are either being charitable because he’s right there, or this is some Cam disrespect.
  22. As much as you know I like Corral as a prospect, as a fan… we have to have another option because his foot may never be the same. Obviously I’m no surgeon though. If we went Carr/Rodgers route, it buys us time for a dev QB, but if we go middle bridge, you need to bring in another dev QB unless Reich just loves Eason.
