  1. Sure but it was treated like something it isn’t. You aren’t dumb if you score low on that test. From my understanding, the point of the test is how well you deal with reacting to multiple visual stimuli at the same time, or rapidly back to back, and how quickly you identify and respond to that. People made CJ Stroud “Waterboy” memes. It was just a form of ignorant character assassination.
  2. Page 15 looks exactly like every page 15 lol
  3. I wish that kid nothing but the best. People made him out to be dumb as rocks pre draft. It was pathetic.
  4. I appreciate your posts. This will help people even if they don’t speak up. Thank you.
  5. I understand the concern with Young’s ceiling. We share that. These guys have to get to the point where they aren’t “thinking,” but “playing” in the new systems that come with a new staff. And a rookie QB is still a rookie QB. When we replaced the staff, there’s always a learning period. I’d expect more initially if we kept Wilks and the continuity that would have come with that. The intent though, is to take 1 step back, then 2 steps forward. We’ll see.
  6. A lot of talk about guys “not getting separation” in this thread…but shouldn’t Reich/Brown be able to scheme guys open sometimes?
  7. Are we really this fragile? If the panthers are a net negative in your life, drop them.
  8. The word “rebuild” is like the word “God.” It means different things to different people, and arguments result from it.
  9. We have a new staff, and the new QB is a rookie. That’s a lot of change man. Be patient. I know we are tired of “being patient” for the Panthers to win, but if you replace the staff and QB…the clock resets. Prior suck isn’t their fault.
  10. Mays did fine in regular season games last year. Even with a new staff, that means more to me than preseason.
  11. Wonder if we should CMC him. Save him for the last half of the year, then if we are contending for the division, play him. If we are far off, just shut him down for the year.
  12. Yeah we basically did everything better than the Falcons last Sunday, with the difference being takeaways. The Falcons were careless too, but their fumbles bounced back to them. We are better than last game showed in my opinion. Still a ways to go, but the score was misleading.
  13. Lindstrom is clearly an amazing player, but I think Brown’s explosive power at his size is just a mismatch nightmare for him. If you remember, Ogden was one of the best LT’s ever…but Dwight Freeney would eat his lunch all day. Part of what makes football so great is the chess match of it all.
  14. Feel bad for backs man. They need a new minimum wage or something. Such a brutal position on the body, and you end up with relative peanuts.
  15. We really need to sit tight, keep our assets, and give reps to Mingo/TMJ, so we can actually know what we have heading into next season. Let Mingo work through his lumps. It will only make him better. And 100% determine if TMJ is worth keeping. We MUST have a definitive answer before season end. We would already have that answer but Anderson was allowed to stink up the field each Sunday instead.
  16. Chinn is smaller, faster Frankie Luvu. That’s how he should be used. Let him use his explosion to hit some dudes.
  17. Seriously. This place is wild!
  18. Yup. It’s wise to be patient. Not every player will “make it.” If you are patient, some will. If you are impatient, none will.
  19. I’d be careful judging that statement without the full context. Also, I think some of this is extending grace to your rookie quarterback, and taking ownership of those picks as a the head coach. That’s not Rhule-ian at all.
  20. Basically Bates was either given freedom, or took liberty on his own to jump those routes, when the actual defensive call required him to be deeper than he was. He gambled. And he gambled well. So film probably indicated he was supposed to be deep center, but that he cheated up instinctually.
  21. Easiest guy you could ever root for. I still remember watching that training video (Achilles) and it was heart breaking.
  22. Dude had 7 tackles, 4 TFL, 1.5 sacks, and 1 forced fumble…against a dinky dunk passing game plan… If you are angry/dissatisfied after his week 1 performance, well; he ain’t the problem.
  23. All I know is every time I see “Saints”, I get a terrible feeling that lasts 0.43 seconds because I still associate Drew Brees as their QB, but then immediately I calm down and remember he’s gone. Bryce has a clean game this weekend. Evero gets production out of Henderson/Hill, Burns gets 2 sacks (1 a strip sack) still motivated by the lack of an extension. 24-13 Panthers all day long.
  24. Horn is also a stud starter. We hit on the pick. Injury is just injury. Can’t blame anyone for it. poo happens. Yeah it sucks that other stud starters were picked that have been more fortunate, but I would only care on passing on those if Horn was trash, but dude is an all pro talent. He’s just unlucky, or the added physically of the pro game doesn’t agree with his body. And you don’t know that until you know that.
