  1. If I lost a front door, I would makeshift an interim door, and then hire my choice of new door after the storm is over. Depending on how much I trust that door, I’d let the door select its own new carpet, windows, and evaluate the furniture and see what needs replacing. And then the door can pick some fresh paint to take advantage and compliment the new decor so it all works togeth…ah fug it I hate my analogy.
  2. If you watched the Baker clip, he’s clearly saying that all that matters are guys in the locker room at this point, and he won’t let outside opinions and noise distract him. Unfortunately, he worded it poorly. The media naturally will make it sound like he said “look at that kid fan over there fug him and fug all the rest of them “.
  3. Time investment wouldn’t reap worthwhile rewards I’m afraid. Best case? I convince you. Most likely case? Neither of us changes our mind
  4. Sam overpay (everyone thought JeTs SuCk SaM mAyBe OkAy…but our coaching sucks too). Baker not an overpay. CJ, eye of the beholder. Most importantly though; you hold the premise that our roster is weak. I don’t hold that premise. I know this from prior discussions with you. Therefore we naturally would have differing opinions on a GM/AGM, QB issues aside. We both agree our QB’s suck. You see garbage QB’s with a roster you don’t like. I see garbage QB’s with a roster I do like (not implying it’s perfect though).
  5. Making mistakes at QB makes you look horrible, but it doesn’t make it true that you are. Also you are assuming who made the decisions. We just don’t know for sure.
  6. That’s my assumption too, but its impossible to be certain of it.
  7. A lot of assumptions in here (over Fitt/Morgan’s impact vs. Rhule’s). You’d simply have to be in the room to know what the truth is. I like our roster regarding talent and potential (athletically) in the young guys. We still have the same problems (QB, offensive scheme), but we most certainly have talented players on offense. IF IF IF, Fitt/Morgan heavily influenced this roster remake, then I have no problem with them staying and selecting a coach. The offensive line is playing a lot better, and the problems are so clearly that we need quality QB play and to properly use the weapons we have (scheme). That’s not happening at all.
  8. I like Stroud, but it isn’t that simple. His team always has the most talent on the field. So they need to watch a game, but focus on his mechanics, pocket movement, release, ball placement, off platform throws and their accuracy, ability to handle a 1v1 free rusher, etc. You may have had that in mind but maybe the other person doesn’t.
  9. Bruce Young would be the smallest QB on this roster. And he would have to get used to all his offensive teammates not dominating their matchups every week. I don’t get the love here. Starting QB for the best college football program does not equal best QB prospect in college.
  10. Stroud looks good. I see elite NFL type throws from him. It’s always tougher to evaluate though when his team is always the best team on the field. I’d be comfortable taking him for sure, even if he busts. The traits seem like they are there. When Rhule is canned, or when we get to week 8 (whichever comes first) I think it will be fun to reevaluate Corral’s film, and compare to the top prospects this year. Next coach will have Corral and another top QB prospect (most likely) that we can look forward to developing. A new coach, and basically two rookie QB’s will be intriguing to say the least.
  11. I’d take Anderson and pair him with Burns before drafting Young.
  12. Similar view on McAdoo. Competence would have been nice. Incontinence is what we got.
  13. Rather, the offensive play calling makes me believe Rhule is trying to embarrass Tepper.
  14. I think Baker has talent, but not transcendent talent. Most QB’s are like this. Put complementary pieces around them, and a solid coordinator who can scheme to the players strengths, and you can succeed. Baker can make all the throws necessary at this level, but he can’t overcome the incompetence level right now. The problem is…we watched nearly a decade of a transcendent talent at the position. We had success without big brains calling the plays. It was still obvious the playcalling wasn’t great, but he could make lemonade out of lemons all game. We don’t have that dude now, but our talent on offense is better than this poo show, and I put it all on McAdoo/Rhule. Using players the opposite way they should be isn’t Bakers fault.
  15. Optimistic season projections were under the assumption we would be average on offense. This team is arguably 4-0 if that was the case. The defense has played their part. No one saw THIS happening. No one thought “this offense will make us dream of last years offense.”
  16. He’s a young player who naturally makes some mistakes, but his physical talent is undeniable. The deep play he gave up today he had tight coverage and was there. It’s the hardest position to be mistake free. Even the best will get beat, but if so, make the QB throw it perfectly to do so.
  17. Should have resigned Cam and gave him a full off-season.
  18. Can’t wait for posts criticizing the defense after this one. They will find a way to do it.
  19. Love Vilma criticizing Luvu when he literally led the bountygate defense.
  20. I’m glad my job isn’t taking peoples words and trying to fug them with said words.
  21. Don’t remember the exact carry count but thank you McAdoo for running HB dive with CMC 20-1000 times in the 4th quarter thanks love you lots.
