  1. Quinn Ewers, contingent on him growing back that mullet.
  2. I think it’s even weirder how people spend so much time defending him. That’s hard work. It’s so easy to bash him. He’s done nothing.
  3. Took the words out of my mouth OP. Of course, we both hope he’s doing his best duck impersonation right now, but at this point, we have to assume he’s a duck until proven otherwise. We were sold “Peyton Manning big brain”, but it looks like that wasn’t the case. So what now? If AR and Levis aren’t mentally ready, it’s easy to wait. They are physical specimens. But Young? Average is looking like his ceiling. What a time to be a panthers fan.
  4. “All I did was call them an asshole. I didn’t say it in a positive or negative light. If someone doesn’t want to be an asshole, then don’t. If you want to be one, that’s cool, too.”
  5. Hubbard has my respect. Theilen too. Luvu. Woods (dude brings it). Horn actually played so I love him again. I’ll always appreciate Moton. Even when he’s poo. I’ll fight you.
  6. This has me thinking more about the whole “bandwagon” thing. We don’t know these players. We don’t know the coaches. We don’t know the front office. We don’t know the owners. Yet “quitting” a team, is treated like personally quitting. Like if you personally have a challenge in front of you that you actually COULD control, and you quit that. You give up: I understand how that could be a negative; how that could be frowned upon. But quitting a football team who doesn’t know or give a poo about you outside of money you can give them? I don’t see how those are the same thing, and how those two situations should be treated equal, outside of seeing others irrationally do that, and just adopting that learned attitude. Best case scenario? You can brag to other fans how you “stuck it out and were loyal” during Bryce’s rookie year…and…no one will give a poo. The flip side? You were miserable for 17 Sundays a year just for that moment you could tell someone you were there during the bad times…which once again…they won’t care about.
  7. It’s wild how many “up and coming” coaches nuked their reputations this year. Hopefully we get a better grasp of the “truth” regarding the Teppers, who chose Bryce, etc this off-season as these coaches try to salvage their reputation. I just want proof that the staff wanted Stroud, and that Teppers overruled them. My fandom hopes it’s not true. But if true, I want it exposed. I want a bloodbath. I want that reputation destroyed just like this franchise has been destroyed since the Teppers bought it.
  8. How about instead, let’s not negatively label someone as a bandwagon fan, who literally isn’t one. They have essentially been a panther fan from the jump, so clearly they aren’t that. Someone is literally trying to improve their short life, by pruning negative poo, in favor of something potentially better aligned with their family flourishing. Just because we can’t escape this shitshow, it doesn’t mean we have to fully embrace sadism.
  9. If they choose the Eagles, and then bounce once the Eagles aren't good anymore, then that’s a bandwagon fan. 27 years means they’ve been through the ups and downs, but I feel for OP because this down feels different, hopeless, and we have an owner who broke the team. That doesn’t fit a derogatory label like “bandwagon fan” to me. You can not like it, but this person isn’t like a Cleveland, then Miami, then Laker fan who follows Lebron around. Need different labels for that.
  10. Yeah. He tackled Kamara for like an 8 yards loss. He also pressured Carr multiple times into the rest of his D-line. Now, broadly speaking, regarding our defense…I refuse to critique them anymore until we field a professional offense, which we haven’t done (arguably) since before Burns was drafted. Teddy was the best, but he was only good in the middle of the field, and was allergic to TD’s. Its pathetic, and I’m tired of watching this unit fight for 3.5 quarters before being gassed and (I assume) mentally defeated.
  11. Numbers don’t tell the whole story though. Perhaps, to be more precise, we could say Allen is as effective as a runner, but Cam is the more talented runner. The way Cam moves at 6’5” 250 looks way different than how Allen moves. Allen clearly is the better passer, but I do fantasize about an alternate reality where Chud stays and Cam is used more appropriately during his career. Cam was no slouch.
  12. Until you find a QB, QB will remain the biggest problem. Although at the topof the 2nd round, you would be picking the 4th QB or so. At that point, you can possibly get the best guard or center in the draft. However if a new coach/gm love a QB that slides into the 20’s, who has all the physical tools required for the NFL, I wouldn’t hate that at all.
  13. Tepper expecting Young’s footwork…which he’s had his whole life…to be fixed in a week… Not exactly the guy you want butting his head in and giving football advice.
  14. Young decided to not do any physical drills or throw at the combine. He was 100% healthy. Smart on him and his camp.
  15. Same. And yes…we are insane my friend.
  16. The other quarterbacks mentioned can throw anywhere on the field though. I wish durability was still the question, and not lack of arm talent. Our luck, he’ll be the most durable QB we’ve ever had.
  17. Like I get the arguments defending Bryce. Line has been poo. Route concepts are predictable, etc. But Young has a noodle. He’s a mediocre athlete, and probably a poor athlete relative to size. He’s also not a “maestro” in any way so far. We spent number 1 on a guy that can’t do all the NFL QB things. Coaches will have to remove plays because he literally can’t execute them because of his lack of raw talent. I can’t believe the evaluators couldn’t see this in person. Literally anyone can get overwhelmed and swept up in the hype machine.
  18. I’d Rosen his ass without a second thought. Test that “consensus number 1” hypothesis. If true, we could get at least a 2nd. Doubt we could get that though.
  19. Last season, this would have been poo’d once per minute. So far you have 1 poo in 8 minutes. Says more about Bryce than Darnold honestly.
  20. But Tepper doesn’t have a “quick hook problem.” I mean if anything he kept Rhule too long. He showed plenty of patience there. Reich won 1 game this season, and the team wasn’t showing any upward progress. Not sure why this is shocking. Butthurt coaches and reporters can talk poo, but this firing isn’t a toxic one at all, and not the red flag everyone says it is. There are plenty of other things to be upset with Tepper about, but having a short leash isn’t one of them.
  21. Like I don’t blame him for making a business decision with our franchise floundering, but to fix the team culture, you need guys who actively aren’t making that business decision, but instead show toughness and team first behavior. It’s a pickle. And I’m assuming so perhaps he really is still hurt. I hope he’s sincere but you can never tell.
  22. I’m reading into it, but this quote seems like a PR way to make a “business decision.” I love Horn and have had his back, but if he’s able to play but is skating bye, then I don’t want that on the team.
