When the game was out of reach, and the Lions players naturally relaxed on defense…then started to perform. Garbage time doesn’t bring him to a C for me. It’s Teddy Bridgewater empty stat poo.

0-5 isn’t a fireable offense. But THIS type of 0-5? Fitt and Reich, if not fired, are sitting on liquid hot magma.

We aren’t talented offensively, but that’s not the issue.

Hell yeah. Where do we sign? -

The issue is more situational awareness. Knowing when to call what. Reich ain’t it. -
Hell yeah he just needs everything to be perfect for any zip to be on his passes. Clausen needed the same. Hopefully we got an extremely intelligent Clausen who figures out how to minimize errors.

I dislike Reich and Bryce. Let’s fire Reich, Fitt, and Bryce this week.

To be fair, do we trust the Teppers to hire the person who could help with football operations?

Yeah people argue his arm is average or above average even. It’s pretty clear it isn’t. -
Ben Johnson is a modern offensive coach. Night and day. Lions receivers don’t even have to be great. They are schemed wide the fug open.

No if you remember, CMC is just a runningback and those are a dime a dozen. Easily replaceable. We won that trade. And DJ is not a number one and doesn’t play hard. He also can’t score touchdowns and that was his fault. -Huddle

I respectfully disagree with everything you said.

Could have sworn Peppers wanted to leave. He lived in NC his whole life and wanted to experience a different place.

It would be expensive, but it would be for a top 5-10 edge for 3-5 years of his prime on the next deal. Wouldn’t it also hurt the franchise in the “long run” to not have that edge? Both sides of the argument have their merits. However…if Bryce is worth a damn, then Burns contract is inconsequential since we won’t have an expensive QB deal to care about. That’s why I think people are caring a bit too much about his potential annual salary.

How has Jeudy been affected by the offensive suck in Denver though? If we excuse our own players for having poo coaching, scheme, and surrounding talent…then is it unfair to view Jeudy from the same lens? Perhaps that can be answered by anyone who watches Denver consistently in here. Maybe he legit doesn’t have the talent, but let’s at least be consistent.

I, for one, fell for the great story of it all. They did a hell of a job selling Franks story. We finished last year strong, seemingly upgraded the staff, drafted a megamind QB. We thought we had a four course meal but it was cotton candy that dissolved quickly.

Yeah Reich “protecting” Bryce is akin to someone loving a bunny so much that they hug it to death. Gotta let the kid learn from mistakes. Taking away the opportunity for mistakes is making him look like a bust.

Mr “I won’t stand up for Mediocrity” observes practice today

At the end of the day, there are only 32 HC jobs at the highest level of football, and 1 of those is with the Panthers. People will always be interested in that. -
I’m all for Jeudy. He’s the exact receiver we need. Pristine route runner. Hands. Clever in his movements. No wasted movement. But it all depends on cost. I don’t trust Fitt right now. Too much desperation. I think at least a 3rd gets it done, but that’s tough to swallow. 4-5th round pick is what I’d be happy with, but I think (barring injury) Jeudy is a better player than that, so I don’t think Denver accepts that. And of course, the looking question is how much offensive disfunction is simply Reich hamstringing things right now. There’s just so much wrong offensively that I’m not sure adding a WR helps with it.

Then after saying this, they acted like they didn’t have conviction until a couple days before the draft. Confusing.

A lot of people recited the “runningbacks aren’t that valuable anymore/are a dime a dozen” over and over before and after the trade. He’s has always been far more than just a running back. Maybe our poo coaches and schemes made it harder for people to see that.
-
To be fair they scored 12 points.

Which reminds me…why wasn’t that route for Hurst? I’m over Thomas being forced into a role he hasn’t shown to be good at. Hurst is no Olsen, but he catches that ball.
