Not solely as a WR. What good is having his talent if he isn't avaiable to play. Rather have him take 12-15 carries a game and send him out on shorter passes and crossing routes.
-
Don't believe he can hold up at RB on a full time basis. Maybe as a slot reciever with some runs thown in. Either play him in the slot or trade him before he is broken goods. He is as good a reciever as we have out of the back field. Second season in a row he is injured and may possibly end up on IR if the hammy doesn't improve. Sucks that he has the kind of body makeup that can't take the constant beating. Some guys can run forever without constant injuries....appears he is not one of them. What u got?

Rhule blames the D when asked about offensive struggles
Jmac replied to ncfan's topic in Carolina Panthers
I would bet you could find two guards and a center off a college team right now that would play better then what they have. Turning a constant blind eye to the same sheet season after season doesn't fix the problem. Even worse when it is a totally new regime, and the same problem still exists. -
The only option this year is Walker. I don't see that happening. This team can't keep throwing dice on postions of importance and hoping for the best.
-
The three turnstiles in the middle are a real problem. The tackles I think will be okay in the long run. One rookie and a quality player on the other side. the center and guards need to be replaced asap....sadly not many options at this point.

The Oline sucks for sure and Sam is just a average Qb in my eyes. That combo equals failure. Sure he would be better with a decent Oline, how much better? We will never know this season.
-
Playoff team? They would get an ass kicking from most of the teams you mentioned. They aren't a playoff quality team at this point......face reality.
-
Putting two carts before the horse with this one.
-
Now if they can pull a trade out their arz for a decent Oline man.......
-
Has to be one or two guys walking the streets in this country that are better then the shitshow they trot out there on game day.
-
They can now focus on the next game without the added pressure that being undefeated brings. Better early in the season then later. Young team with potential that needs to stay on track to succeed. Need to try and fix the obvious problems and move foward. Don't know how much can actually be done this season to fix the Oline. A winning season would be nice, being competitive against the best is more realistic. They still have a ways to go before being a perennial playoff team.

Well the guys they have playing now are Definitely not ready....nor will they ever be. Take the rookie with the most potential and play him, the other rook Asap. They can't proceed with 'the less then JAG's' they have on the field now.

Not going anywhere with this bunch
-
KC was able to work around their inferior Oline and win the SB. No way to hide this abomination that we have. Nothing they can do to make this bunch play NFL type football. As long as they trot out this bunch, they are not going very far. I hope that this is the last season we have to watch this sh%tstorm of an Oline.

Oline sux as usual

Can't run block or pass block...sh%tshow of an oline.

Must be very stressfull to be a successful kicker with that kind of pressure. The whole game or season may come down to one kick. Forget the word...how about stomach in knots.
-
Get out on the high school field and kick. Practice till his foot hurts and practice some more. Maybe one day he can get over the twisties in front of crowds and when the pressure is on. Needs to built confidence in every kick.

My analysis of C.J. Henderson and body language.
Jmac replied to Ivan The Awesome's topic in Carolina Panthers
Quiet is good. Doesn't need to be wearing outrageous outfits or talking a bunch of sh%t and making a spectacle. Let him be who he is and bring his personality out on the field. The social media circus doesn"t fit some people and thats a good thing. Just leave him be and let him play. -
No Respect for the Panthers - What Cowboys Fans are Saying
Jmac replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
To be expected. Untill they start whipping better teams, then this is what you will hear. Hopefully the team will show up Sunday and play at a high level. I still think they need another season to be truly ready to kick some ass and take names on a regular basis. They have improved a great deal this season. -
This is the Turning Point Game of the 2021 Season
Jmac replied to Hoenheim's topic in Carolina Panthers
We will see. In the past, they would go into a big game on a roll and get beat....throwing the doubt back into the fore front again. A good showing at least will go a long way in confidence building for the young team. They need to (at the very least), play a good game even if they lose. -
Wonder if he is a Ricky Williams sort of odd ball guy (minus the weed). Williams acted strange back in the day and people questioned his desire to play. All the talent in the world and he did play and have some good seasons. Always that weird guy stigma followed him from team to team. Now he is on some tropical island smoking to his hearts content. Living his best life I guess.

The elephant in the room. How can they compete against the top tier defenses and survive with this line? Can they scheme to compensate for this inadequate group? Any ideas on how they can do this with smoke and mirrors? I'm afraid that this Achilles heel will rear it's ugly head if they do get in the playoffs.... What u got?

We will be in good shape with cap money wise....may have to shake a few trees and make something happen.

Rhule is the coach...not the GM.
