Panthers featured in upcoming Roku series about 2023 NFL draft
Jmac replied to ladypanther's topic in Carolina Panthers
Thankyou for the info. Will be interesting to see. -
Why not. We gave him a shot before and he nailed it.
-
When they used May's as a lead blocker he did fine. Actually helped the line more so then playing guard. Maybe that is the role for him. Situational when they need him.

Sanders has a groin injury. These things can linger on and easily get tweaked. They already said that he probably won't play the rest of preseason. Would it not behoove them to sign another back just in case. Someone who can step in and do the job if needed. Bryce needs some form of a running game to keep the opposing D honest. If Sanders is sidelined with the groin injury, Chuba and Blackshear aren't the answer.

They better get the Oline figured out (what's new), or our rookie QB will be in deep shat. They don't have the running game to pound the ball, nor the brute running back to do it. Last season they had a bruising back and used a third string guard to lead block and it worked. Completely different setup this year.

The Saints and Falcons are better then last season.....don't know about Carolina. We may be the 3rd best team in the division.

How hard is it to setup the new scheme and to implement it. If you have the right players to fit the scheme (big if), can you effectively implement it in one season or does it take much longer. Can we expect them to "get it" this season or not. Opinions please

Can't tell much from the first preseason game. They shat the bed this game that's all.
-
Same sheet.....different day

Running backs are easier to find then other skill positions. If they need to bring someone in due to a lingering injury, it shouldn't be a huge deal.

From what I have been seeing and hearing, they seem to be firing on all cylinders already. The front seven looks to be a nasty bunch and may be the lynch pin to the whole thing. Hopefully the new scheme and coaching will be the spark they needed. Time to kick ass and take names.....I expect top ten at least in the NFL. What u got?

It's Jets joint practice Day 1 (8.9.2023)

Luckily there aren't many Aaron Rodgers left in this league, with that kind of accuracy. -
Reddick is 28....Houston is 34. They let Houston walk and then found themselves with out an edge rusher besides Burns. Hoping they had a guy in camp that can do the job. Looks like they weren't confident enough to start the season with whom they have. Houston had a good season last year so we shall see. He is long in the tooth, but for one or two years he could fill the void. They have to get the guy in the next draft somehow to groom for the job.

Saints bringing Turner in for a look. Guys been on the market for a while without much interest. Good luck to him and hope he sticks somewhere.....even if it is the Taints.

It’s not going to be cheap to retain Derrick Big Baby Brown

They have to try and keep the best players. Revolving doors isn't the answer. -
Will the Panthers or won't they contend for a playoff spot

Let me ask the Magic 8 ball..... -
A journeyman guy to plug and play when needed....about it.
-
....who are not injury prone. If the two starters on paper are down what next. Need some answers please
-
I guess this means he is taking the field as QB #1 against the Falcons. How do u all feel about starting him the first game of the season or should they have eased him in. If he has trouble would they yank him for Dalton and would that be the right thing to do for his confidence? What u got?

Jason McCourty: Panthers made NFL's biggest offseason move
Jmac replied to NAS's topic in Carolina Panthers
If the HC and his boys are as good as they look on paper and B.C can play decent....we may be smiling come January......or not.
