Steelers fan base summed up in one picture. Thanks Deangelo
Jmac replied to KillaCamNewton's topic in Carolina Panthers
Looks like the woman at the Ingles in Hendersonville....she stole my parking spot, then flipped me the bird. Love ya Steelers fans... -
Three millon, one year contract with two millon inventive package. To the black hole he goes. That leaves the one not to be discussed left, maybe on to wonderfull Jacksonville. Look to the draft....we are done here with a WR I believe.

Jennings trolling the Fins fanbase now talking about wanting to watch 'Miami Vice'. If he wait's untill after the draft. he may be S.O.L on getting the money he wants. Alot of talent at WR that can be had on a rookie contract. Keep playing games and he will be playing for vet min.

Has any player talked up by Riverboat worked out well for us?
Jmac replied to WOW!!'s topic in Carolina Panthers
Alexander should not be on this list. If he has his crap straightened out, then you may be suprised. The guy has talent and he may be ready to produce. -
This is the 'Godfathers' way of sifting through possible gold dust without buying the farm. Isn't it obvious by now that he will not get fleeced with high priced F.A signings that hurt the bottom line. He does the real work at the end of April. All these signings just build a base to compliment the draft.

Needs to find a mean streak. Hang out with Norwell and Trai... find the nasty.

The glaring hole at #2 is the caveat to the whole offense. They have to hit on a WR that can produce and fill that void. With a solid pick, we win. D.G needs to do his magic in the draft and get this done.

Appears the offers where close. He is from the mid west and decided to go closer to home.

Article by Jason B. Hirshhorn. "Can the Panthers win the NFC South for the third consecutive year"? A valid question until he shows his ass about what he actually knows about this team, "Gettlemans track record with the draft is suspect . He will need to change that to keep his team on top of the NFC South". Read that quote again and let it sink in a bit. Gettlemans strength Is player evaluation. He nailed the draft and I expect him to have a repeat performance this year. Amazing the lack of research and knowledge that is involved before writing an article. Almost spit up my coffee when I read that statement.

Hill has done nothing. Untill he actually plays a snap and actually catches a pass, then I would not be to sure about that list.

Godfather about to do some work. All the FA angst will be soothed.

Mr. Richardson did flex muscles regarding Hardy
Jmac replied to dswofford's topic in Carolina Panthers
I don't get this place sometimes. This is a mute point. They couldn't afford him and he certainly wasn't going to take less then last years money (all the play for vet mIn. was a laugh). One player doesn't make a team. But being 13 mill in the hole can definitly hold a team back. We can bring Bell,Cason and the rest of the gang back if you like. -
Mr. Richardson did flex muscles regarding Hardy
Jmac replied to dswofford's topic in Carolina Panthers
He owns the team, he calls the shots. Any business owner would do the same regarding any employee...his choice. And just a reminder, they couldn't afford him regardless. -
According to J.Jones, he came in for a visit and left to visit other teams. May just be tickling our asses with a feather with his tweet. We will see.
-
Time to bury the body ....no more threads about this guy. And no last glorious goodbyes...he bent this team over bigtime. Enough of this cult of personality already.
-
Torn achilles last year. This is never a good thing for a corner or wideout. We will see.

Lets sign the guy that has the 2nd worst YPC in the history of the NFL with 500 attempts or more. Why????

Gettleman: Oher can be answer at left tackle
Jmac replied to Jeremy Igo's topic in Carolina Panthers
You just don't lose god given abilities unless you sustain major injuries. Oher hasn't had major injuries that would be career ending. Maybe a change of scenery and his old oline coach and get him back on track. I would hate to be stuck in the zombie apocalypse with some of you guys ...the negativity is mind numbing. -
The huddlers punching bag is back. Good For him. Should have never been returning kicks to begin with. Hard worker and has produced when called upon In the passing game. Let him compete.

Ted Ginn Jr agrees to 2 year deal with Panthers
Jmac replied to jamos14's topic in Carolina Panthers
Johnson is 34. Not exactly a move for the future. They need to find a #2 for the long haul -
It better be those four plus a legit #2 rookie from the draft or F.A. No one is a capable #2 wide out behind K.B.

Panthers Final Decision On Hardy : No Thanks
Jmac replied to Jeremy Igo's topic in Carolina Panthers
Some of you elevate this guy to a god like status. I guess you bought in to the whole "Kraken" persona....hook, line, and sinker. It takes ten other guys around him to make a stout defense. He is a good DE, but not the best in the league. Get a good tackle or two and he can be stymied. The 49er's proved that in the playoff game for one example. We will be fine. -
Ted Ginn leaning towards going home to Cleveland
Jmac replied to nctarheel0619's topic in Carolina Panthers
So Ginn is an older Stephen hill. Both are fast, both have issues catching the ball and running crisp routes. Some wanted Hill, and you have him. Ginn obviously better suited as a return guy. The new kick return rules have stymied much of that. Don't recall him returning punts. -
Fan Poll - Did Deanglo's handling of his release tarnish his image?
Jmac replied to Jeremy Igo's topic in Carolina Panthers
Since it is all over twitter, Espn etc., looks like he accomplished his goal. To crap all over the organization that provided a job and salary that most can only dream of. Good job Dlo. Sorry about your mom. Also sorry that you couldn't take the high road. -
D Will says Panthers didn't reach out to him when his mother died
Jmac replied to QCkilla's topic in Carolina Panthers
More to this then what appears on the surface. Two sides to every story and there is a reason why D.G and R.R didn't go. Who knows what has been going on between the club and Williams and what was going on in the locker room. Regardless, don't burn bridges
