Admit I was wrong about Gettleman. Hasn't won anything here or now in NY. I thought he was a top notch hire, but in hindsight he held us back. I won't even mention Hurney, he was unqualified and a bone head from day one. Our GM these days is young and seems to know his sh%t. Great hire it seems and he may finally be the answer for this franchise. We didn't know much about him at the time, turning out to be the best of the bunch by far.
-
They can not run block for sh%t. Pass block is nothing to write home about, but better then their attempt to open any holes and are getting run over by the dline constantly. Forget going up the middle because that's impossible with this bunch. Weakest link for years.

How about fifty touches a game....or maybe sixty?....no problem? He is not Superman.
-
Just can't allow the thirty touches a game for CMC anymore. No matter how tough he is, he will be worn down to a nub by the time the stretch run comes and possibly seriously hurt. The Oline cannot run block for sh%t. They kept a boat load of TE's. So why not go with two TE sets MORE with either Hubbard/Reese to give some run blocking help. You can also use set to decoy run and sent them out to the flat or downfield to loosen up the defense. They need to change with the situation and this is time to do something that will still give us a running threat and a passing threat when CMC isn't in the game.

When he returns they have to do things different. He can't be getting thirty touches a game and stay healthy.

Will a broken foot put Horn out for year?
-
Oline plus Hubbard = total shat

If we have to depend on one guy to make this team relevant, then WTF do we have?
-
Thought we had a different team.....bur SOS no matter who we have.
-
Should have kept Davis around....they need a reliable back just for circumstances like this. Late pick rookie isn't the answer when CMC goes down. And the Oline SUCKS!!!!
-
Oline sucks.. SUCKSSSS
-
Here we go...CMC hurt
-
Are we ever going to have a decent Oline?
-
Them dayz are over....new times

Does this defense have the ability to be superior to the SB group. I know no one can replace L.K or T.D, I am talking about the over all squad. To early to be certain for sure, but if they keep on this trajectory and they stay healthy....where do you see this group in two years? The best we ever put on the field? What u got????
-
This team is a year away (two at most), from being dominate and a force in the league. No more shatting the bed in primetime games or blowing big leads. Juice up the Oline a bit with some run blockers and find a kicker and they will be almost there. One more draft and a FA aqusition or two.....and watch the fug out.

I see extremely over weight people wearing a fit bit all the time.. ..what is the purpose? They don't appear to be using it for it's intended functions.
-
Go with what we got. Seems the team has improved and the Oline did a decent job against a solid Dline in N.O. Don't buy the bullshat that the N.O Defense was all beat up. Same group as last week minus Lattimore. We are still a year or two away from being a constant contender, so built from there.

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa......wipe tears.....Waaaaaaaaa

That's the same excuses they are making on the Saints board....players out and coaches out. Play with who u have. Just play better then your competition.
-
Happens to the best of them sooner or later. Just have to know when to get off the bus at the right stop.
-
Looks like the Saints are still very good. Good defense and oline, running back is no slouch, and they seem to plug and play important positions when needed. If Winston progresses then the Bucs will have a challenge. What kind of game will we play next week and will it be competitive?

Question for you 50 years plus folk (and others)?
Jmac replied to top dawg's topic in Carolina Panthers
Winning once is just that...once. After the high fives wear off in a few months, then it's back to mediocrity? Nope. Didn't want that sort of team before and don't want it now. Rather build the team to be and stay competitive. They will be in the big show when the time is right. -
Same story season after season...nothing changes. Different regime and it still makes no difference.
