It has been the same old song for a few years now. -

Problem is...fire Rhule.. yes, but the defense will still be as soft as fug. Can't fix this poo this year no matter who is coaching. They didn't know that it would be Swiss cheese? How the fug is that possible? -

Wouldn't say worse...not very good. We are below that low bar. -

At least the radio play by play is better....even if the team doesn't seem to be so far. -
Get that bungalow ready for himself and his supermodel in Hawaii... Can't happen this season.. can it?????

NFC South is in transition at this point. The dominant teams are losing traction and in rebuilding mode soon. Tom Brady will not be as dominant. They have lost some important pieces and will be beatable. The Saints have secondary problems and the head coach is questionable. They have important players who are now facing legal problems and suspension. The Falcons will have one of the weakest rosters in the NFL. The saying goes "strike when the iron is hot" and the Panthers have a four or five year window to take advantage of the situation. It is now up to the coaching staff and front office to put the team in a position to be ready to take over the division. No more excuses and bullsh%t.

Does anyone else think we could win the South?

Possible. If the defense can get off the field on 3rd downs and the Oline and CMC can stay healthy and on the field. -
Real suprise cut. One of the top defensive players on the team. Some one they should consider to throw in the mix. Could only improve the line...at any position.

NC is a good place to live as is Charlotte. Not a big city, but up and coming. Once his family adjusts, he may just want to stay. If this team continues to improve and become a playoff caliber team....that may be the deciding factor (of course if they have the scratch to pay him.)

How about just a good year? Pro-bowl is reaching a bit.

Can we afford to sign him long term or franchise tag him (which may piss him off.) Corral is an unknown commodity and with the injury, who knows. Sam is gone after this year and P.J is P.J. What should they do if he actually plays well?

After watching two preseason games, how do you feel about this team? Do you see any significant improvement besides the QB position? What's your gut feeling....positive,negative, or the SOS this season?
-
Very smart move. Matt is far from ready and the other two are who they are. Was it Rhule trying to save his job, Fitts trying to get a plan B if the kid didn't work out, or Tepper trying to get some wins and save the fan base and the PSL crowd What you think?

Anyone care to step up and get close to the QB?? Obvious that they need to do something or they are fugged. Waiting for cuts to pick up a JAG and call it fixed?.....

With Haynes now having a leg injury, is it time to give J.P.P a look? I know he is on the otherside of the hill. but not many options left out there? Any ideas?

If the offensive line isn't a problem, the defensive line is. Can't seem to get the lines straightened out simultaneously. They me be run over like a steam roller.

"The Punisher".....more like it.

Vet. CB calling it a day. Time for the young guys to step up. Think they will do the job asked of them this year.

Stats can be deceiving. I remember watching games when we needed to stop the run and get off the field and they couldn't. I remember teams keeping the offense off the field by gaining 6 and 7 yards at a clip off them to get the first down....not that the offense was worth a fug. It happened more so then not.

Seems like they are keeping Mayfield away from the press. Haven't heard anything from him at all. Very unusual to not have any interviews or introductions. what gives?
-
They got shredded last year in many games. Just not stout enough to hold their ground. All the speed in the world won't help if you can't stop the running game. Sure the offense may be better, but I don't see how the run defense has improved enough to make a difference. Thoughts?
