    For what's it's worth, Daniel Jeremiah is really high on DJ Humphries. I know that's just one analyst, but I trust his opinion more than other draft people like Mel Kiper.

    I think there are several great options that have a chance at being there at 25 and being selected by the Panthers. Randy Gregory Preston Smith Arik Armstead Bud Dupree Each of these guys are first round talents and have high ceilings.

    An improved Kony Ealy and a sober Frank Alexander makes for a much improved d-line in 2015.

    Peat. Not only would he be BPA over Perriman, but also at a position that is very valuable in the NFL. WR is one of the most overrated positions on the field. I honestly won't be very excited if a WR is the pick at 25, especially Perriman. I'd much rather take one in the 2nd or 3rd round.

    I didn't say it was smart or something I think should happen. But I have heard it talked about on the Grantland NFL podcast and Move The Sticks with Daniel Jeremiah, as well as a few articles. There's just no way he is there at 25, is all I'm saying.

    Stephen Hill is also huge and super fast. Can Perriman do the other things that are necessary to become a go-to wide receiver? How is his route running? Being an athletic freak is one thing, but we've seen time and time again that those traits don't always translate to being a productive NFL player.

    News Flash: this is also speculation. Actually, it's even more so speculation. There are facts that back up the idea he wouldn't have taken a cheap deal. None of us know what discussions actually occurred between him, his agent, and management.
