  1. Agree on the reaches, but 39-80 who is the can’t miss dude we passed on? Who is the day one starter? Arguments can be made for corners and nickels I guess. We already invested a fug ton in OL.
  2. Hampton would’ve been a good pick..but for Hampton-Size. KJ Henry is stiff as a board McGuire had better production so can’t argue that. What sets BJ Olujari apart from DJ Johnson? I Didnt like the Johnson pick or the trade. But Go back and look at picks 39-80. Where is the can’t miss day one starter…Cam Smith maybe? Honey badger lite from Bama at nickel maybe?
  3. Hahahaha Darnell Washington is a future journeyman tackle with bad knees. That’s your guy we missed on?
  4. Who would have been a “plug the gap guy” a TE maybe? A corner maybe? Really curious as to who you think would’ve been plug and play from 39 on.
  5. BJ and DJ had the exact same stat lines last year. Motherfugers acting like Mingo over BJ was a huge loss. SAME Stats as the colossal mistake DJ Johnson. Gtfo with that poo. Y’all motherfugers look at Walterfootball and decide who is good and who ain’t.
  6. While the board and Kaye is sucking off BJ Ojulari, compare his stats to Johnson’s for last year. Dude isn’t a blue goose either. Byron Young is also 25 and was an assistant manager at Dollar General at one point. Where is the can’t miss edge rusher we made a mistake and missed on?
  7. YGM isn’t starting. He’s an outcast. Horrible position fit. Frankie or Haynes there.
  8. You have no idea what is a mistake and what isn’t until a couple years gtfo with that. The Johnson move was bizarre but the poor dude was only a LB for one season
  9. I was pissed at first because he’s a senior citizen who has never had statistical success since he started college in 1996. But this was his first year at OLB and he did a really good job at setting the edge and he plays hard and he’s a hustler. If he can be taught one hand technique(he uses zero) when rushing the passer he just might be something
  10. He’s going to make someone a great LT project. Next Nate Chandler (if he’s left handed)
  11. Actually fug it. With us going to 3-4 we need a guy that is good vs the run since Burns is on the other side. He sets the edge in the run game at a high level vs some of these other LB that were picked tonight. He plays hard. Maybe we can teach him a pass rushing move. Maybe the old dog can learn one trick.
  12. God damn it. This is a “raw” 25 year old….those two don’t go together
  13. Also brought in Zach Evans his former RB stablemate at TCU. Real similar guy. RB wise tho Devin Achane is my guy. Don’t care how undersized.
  14. Mayer ain’t it. We just signed big red too. Wasn’t going to happen even if he was there. Niiiicccee corners available here
  15. Captain Jack is ready to play inside backer. If he’s there at 39 you take him. Sanders is a freak. He’s not great at playing LB tho. Campbell and Sewell will have the better career at backer. Campbell is my pick if he’s there at 39. If not…CORNER all day. Got some guys at CB this draft. I like Sewell with the next pick or Pool later if we miss out on Jack.
  16. Oh wow. Saw a couple clips of him turning his head in there. Unfortunately saw more staredowns tho. Processing, timing, progressions, all coachable. He’s got superior ball placement, doesn’t need more air under his throws like this video suggests
  17. White pants only. I thought the black jersey and blue jersey with white pants looked so gd clean. Black pants are for peewee teams.
  18. Well ya know some of Adam’s best years were pre Jefferson. It’s not like Justin Jefferson invented bro.
  19. I’m interested to see if he plays as an inside LB or outside 3-4 LB at the next level. Arkansas played him in both places. Great size, great athlete, HITTER. His mentals wasn’t always there inside, but it was his first year mainly playing inside and they still moved him around so that likely hurt his development
  20. Really GOOD draft for rounds 2-3 ILB. I hope we pick Jack Campbell at 39. Sewell good too. People like the Clemson guy but he’s just an athletic dude, not a ball player
  21. Eshhhh quite the eval. QB’s can prevent protection busts? Does CJ walk on water too? CJ, when throwing to his first read, or second read on the same side of the field…that’s my QB. They are severely out talenting 80% of their opponents at OhioSt and that’s why his tape has so many 1st read throws that look great and why you think he doesn’t have the world collapsing around him (it’s the NFL, poo is going to collapse) CJ has a flaw in his game, he struggles when he has to move off his first read to the other side of the field, he processes a tick too slow there and that leads to his worst plays. He should be a more decisive runner in those situations, it would help him tremendously. We will see how NFL coaching and an NFL offense changes that. The other guys flaw is about 5 inches…you can’t coach that up
  22. I felt like the favorite was Young. He gushed on his “2 hands on the ball, strong in the pocket, yada, yada” point guard yada yada. But he did rightfully so get a chub for CJ spinning it. Bryce don’t spin it like that. CJ throws ropes with good velocity, better at throwing guys open, can drop it in a bucket. Josh’s biggest criticism with CJ was one hand on the ball in the pocket and lack of decisiveness at times. COACHING can fix that. Coaching can’t make you grow 5 inches.
