  1. Burns type rushers are Ickey's worst nightmare. Better give him help. Would rather see a TE on Burns than Ickey
  2. 5 starter-level rookies and a likely 6th (consensus best RB in the draft) is insane in one off-season! Free agent moves were solid. Injuries hurt the defense alot. Plus traded a 7th round rookie for Michael Jackson who looks like a solid starter. I don't know man. I'm pretty impressed.
  3. Was it really that bad? Don't remember seeing footage of when it actually happened. Sucks for him.
  4. Yeah. Great athlete. Not an NFL wide receiver. Honestly think he'd be better on defense. In the future, carolina needs to make sure receiver prospects actually have ball skills. How does he track the ball, does he catch with his hands, does he highpoint balls, does he catch low passes, does he catch in traffic? Maybe start there. Then field awareness and route running. All of that is infinitely more important than size and 40 time.
  5. Huge difference in this game. Biggest improvements being in Bryce's confidence in himself to throw the ball downfield, trust in his oline to protect, and trust in his receivers to make plays when covered. Nothing new with regards to throws and anticipation. He's always done that stuff. Just not consistently.
  6. Frankw that's not what he's saying. Dalton has the best body of work so far this season. No one denies that. But you have a 37 years old QB who will be a FA next season that is trending down, and a 23 years old on a rookie contract trending upwards. You go with the young guy if possible. You find reasons to go with the young guy until he makes you go the other direction.
  7. Would rather see Jordan Matthews out there than Ian Thomas.
  8. I think this is more about rookies actually contributing to the team than the team winning. And you're right, probably not winning many/any more this season.
  9. Makes 0 sense starting Dalton at this point. ZERO.
  10. Yes I'm serious. Are you? I said I'd call it a strip/fumble instead of an interception because the receiver caught the ball and then the defender took it from him. Of course, they're going to classify it as an INT against the QB, but the play was actually made against the receiver. How old are you?
  11. The receiver caught the ball and the defender took it from him. The defender didn't catch the ball out of the air. He took it from the ball carrier. Why is that so difficult for you to accept?
  12. Saquan Barkley just made the best 10 yards run I've ever seen.
  13. I'm not convinced he's the future right now, but I have been encouraged by what I've seen the last 2 weeks. If this was his rookie season, I'd be all for it. Maybe that's how we have to look at it for now. Though it's hard to forget the first 2 games this season. If he continues to show improvement, and confidence in himself and receivers, then we may have something. Would like to see a few more deep shots and better pocket awareness.
  14. Because he took it from the player. If I run 5 yards with the ball and you take it away from me, it's considered a fumble. Geez bro.
  15. Honestly think it should have been classified as a strip/fumble rather than an INT.
  16. So you do realize this means you and your daughter have to go to every game now, right?!
