She just had a baby a month ago and they haven't cleared her yet for exercise and poo. Once she does she'll join me. She did attempt the ab ripper and quit after a few exercises. She won't be laughing when I get through with this poo. She'll be moaning...

I felt the same way when you became the dark lord of bewbs. I felt like I was fit enough to start p90x again seeing as how I could do everything they asked but holy hell that poo is nuts. I mean I did Plyo last night and its nothing but fuging jumping around for an hour. My wife loved laying there laughing at my agony. I'm gonna stick with it even though I can't sit down or get up today. I'm not so much following the diet plan as I pretty much eat decent.

Sunday I went to play some b-ball with a neighbor at the local open gym. Had a pick up game, 3 on 3. Thank god I've been running 3 miles every other day. I wasn't out of breath or sweating profusely but after an hour I could tell I was using muscles I don't work out enough. That and I've got a massive (like two silver dollars side by side) blister on the ball of my foot where I was having to plant my foot. I held my own for not having played in months but it was definitely a punch in the gut that despite running all over god creation i'm still out of shape. I need it to be 75 degrees again. It is hard to get motivated to work out or run but its even harder when its cold as hell outside.

I have a similar problem but if I have to hold my daughter (27lbs) longer than it takes to get from the car to the kitchen my entire left arm goes numb. Its not my arm getting tired its like my arm is there and then I can't feel it. Also yesterday as I was coming into work I noticed a couple in the parking lot with a flat. As he jacking it up, I park my car and start walking. (he obviously has everything under control). Well the car starts rolling and nearly lands on him. I walk over ask if he needs a hand. He already has the tire off so the whole suspension is on the ground. Long story short I have to lift said car with him. I'm not trying to sound like super hero or anything but we managed to lift it 2 inches to get the jack under it. I thought I had managed to do it with good posture but my upper back is absolutely killing me today. Other than that, I've used my "home gym" aka one of those contraptions with weights cables and whatnot, so much that I've broken it. Trying to fix it otherwise is will be replaced with a weight bench. And i'm running a 5k at least 2 times a week. I'd be burning so much fat if it were warmer and it wasn't the holidays. I can't quit food. So as of right now my weight has been maintaining. The fact that I have continued to do this is nothing short of a miracle. The true test will happen when my boy, baby #2, comes in March.

Glad I wasn't the only one thinking this. -
FWIW, If you eat Kale fresh in a salad if you add some kind of vinegar or vinaigrette dressing it should cut some of that bitterness. Personally I cook mine down with ham hock and some onions....don't judge me

I gotta admit, I lurk on this entire forum a lot. I read what people say and never really have an input. Usually because someone has already posted with the exact reply I would have had. (Which Pie is awarded). I've learned my lesson about the tinderbox (that place is crazy). Somehow I always end up in this thread reading and I eventually found the motivation to get off my ass. I started in March watching my diet, cutting soda, smaller portion sizes and more vegetables/fresh foods. I dropped Ten pounds without attempting any excercise. As soon as the weather heated up, I started with light excercises (basketball, hitting a poo ton of golf balls, light weight excercises) just to get myself used to the prospect of an excercise schedule. Since June I started an actual workout schedule for my week and unless unforeseen circumstances occur I usually stick to it. (about every other week something pops up). I haven't lost any more weight, in fact i gained all of the "fat" weight back in muscle. When I go a day w/o excercise I feel horrible. Just wanted to send a shout out to everyone in this particular thread for giving someone motivation to change their habits. This is one of the harder things to do. Hopefully I can keep it up. P.S. I ran a mile the other day in under 10 minutes for the first time since high school, and while I felt like I was going to die afterward, It was one of the more satisfying feelings i've had in awhile. P.P.S. We're on page 69....giggity.
