You Can Only Sign One Player in Free Agency Who Would it Be?
Frank Hollywood replied to Cwood722's topic in Carolina Panthers
The best tackle on the market. -
Sounds like we'd be on the hook for 7.5 million per year. Do not want.
-
Ain't gonna happen. Cole was the perfect signing. Someone will pay Vince 3-4 million per year on a multiple year deal. He's a starter.
-
Well they now have 48 million in cap space to fill those holes.
-
I'm dying! Lol
-
That's exactly what they're good for, why is that a bad thing? February and early March are terrible, terrible times for people hardcore NFL fans.

I also have us taking Fisher and O'leary. Is my mock draft ok to be posted in this section since it's the offseason? The draft section is dead.

Panthers Final Decision On Hardy : No Thanks
Frank Hollywood replied to Jeremy Igo's topic in Carolina Panthers
Rarely, but that's irrelevant to whether this is official or not. I'm nitpicking, I know. -
Panthers Final Decision On Hardy : No Thanks
Frank Hollywood replied to Jeremy Igo's topic in Carolina Panthers
There is literally nothing about this that is "official". Reliable info? Yes. Official? Nope, not even close. No matter how much you want to be right, words mean things. When the Panthers make an OFFICIAL statement in the next week or so, then we can call it official. Until then, it's just a reliably sourced story. -
Brian Hartline and Chris Canty to be released
Frank Hollywood replied to Mr Mojo Risin's topic in Carolina Panthers
My apologies, 4.49. http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/shutdown-corner/dolphins-teammates-think-brian-hartline-underrated-because-white-211158074--nfl.html http://forum.dynastyleaguefootball.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=54932&start=15 http://www.nfldraftscout.com/ratings/dsprofile.php?pyid=56879&draftyear=2009&genpos=WR http://blindsidefootball.com/2014/07/brian-hartline-the-tom-cruise-of-fantasy-football/ and here's the one I posted earlier about how FAST he is on the field. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1882604-what-makes-brian-hartline-the-dolphins-most-reliable-receiver But I'm leaving it at that. You've made up your mind and evidence wont sway you. -
Brian Hartline and Chris Canty to be released
Frank Hollywood replied to Mr Mojo Risin's topic in Carolina Panthers
No. You're trolling at this point. There are only 20 things wrong with this post. You already know that but simply can't admit hartline has speed. Either way when it gets to a point where your evidence is another football player it's obvious the convo is going nowhere. We will just have to disagree on the fact that 4.48, while constantly gaining seperation, Brian hartline is slow. -

He absolutely has that. -

The entire highlight reel is from one season ago. Did you even watch it? I have provided overwhelming evidence of hartline not being slow, including 40 times, a recent highlight reel that gives visual to his ability to create seperation with his speed and a great article that breaks him down as a player. What evidence do you have that he's slow? Or are you just unwilling to admit your error? -

Combine was 4.48. vs. Pro day which was 4.52 -

Five minutes of his highlights puts that theory to rest. -

I'm still scratching my head at how someone wold want cecil shorts over Brian hartline. Hartline ran a 4.48 at his pro day and he's slow. Britt ran a 4.47 and he's fast. Some people refuse to change their opinion given new information. -

Injury prone and a headcase. Pass. -

Frank Hollywood replied to Mr Mojo Risin's topic in Carolina Panthers
No. Again, just no. He ran a 4.48 at his pro day and a 4.52 at the combine. This article does a great job at breaking him down as a player and goes into detail about how he uses his quickness to gain seperation. Apparently he also murdered the three cone as well. http://m.bleacherreport.com/articles/1882604-what-makes-brian-hartline-the-dolphins-most-reliable-receiver -

He ran a 4.52. That's not slow, it's average. Again, who would you bring in? -

Agreed. The highlight video alone shows he gets seperation. -

He's not slow... I want to bring him in to COMPETE at number two. If the draft pick covers that, then great. I don't agree with vet minimum, but 3 mil per year would be great. He would replace cotchery (I believe we save money from that as well) and bersin would be gone as well. We will just have to agree to disagree. -

Again, Target, not Macy's. We aren't going to sign Jerry Rice this offseason. They don't need to be elite. Also, again, because we sign one WR that doesn't have elite speed (though he is fine on speed) doesn't mean we don't draft one/ sign Ginn/ Jones type player. Look at the highlight vid above. The man has a lot to offer and better than some one trick pony speedster. So again, who do you have in mind that is overall better (price, skill) than Hartline? -

Based off of what? What about him wouldn't be worth bringing him in? Who would you rather have? -

Forgive me if someone sees something I don't, I'm not a scout, but he seems to have... -Great hands. Not afraid to get physical, good YAC - great route runner -good speed
