Or just continue to add true competition to the QB room which is one of the worst in the NFL. I think the lack of urgency in our QB room is inevitably going to hold this team back from being great. If our Running game spudders we will sink quick in this coming season. I hope that doesn't happen but having a QB room with BY n Pickett is embarrassing at this stage of the game.

It amazes me still that so many in this fan base will be ok with losing, no moral victories. No "oh the game was exciting" IDGAF if we don't WIN. I'd rather watch boring football and us WIN. People also have the right to complain considering the cost of supporting an NFL franchise these days, nut up Panther fans and stop being cool with being mediocre. I got faith in DM not to extend micro QB especially with his recent comments but Tepper on the other hand I don't....Tepper still a clown and will def give BY a gigantic extension and keep us in mediocrity for years to come.

Agreed that would be amazing. I just think Luke has really enjoyed his time away from the grind of it all for once in his life and doesn't want to rush back. Luke for the short time he was here is easily the best Linebacker this franchise has ever had and thats saying something in this organization history. Always glad to see him doing great outside of football because I know it wasn't easy for him to give it up the way he HAD to. Giving serious consideration going to see his HOF induction this year.

Moton is the man through and through. 2 things I'll always give Gettleman credit for, 1 is drafting Moton, the other is building a SB contending roster and blowing it up in one off-season

Wouldn't be shocked if they draft another one late like the good ole Browns last year. Stafford is old AF and his back is messed up. Analysis thought he would retire last year. Snead has shown he can find impact players outside of the 1st so he isn't sweating. If i was McVay i would've been pissed tho......

Have complete faith in our Oline coaching staff for once. So not a sexy pick but a much needed pick. With a micro QB we need all the Oline we can get

Good write up OP..... I may be the outlier here but I like our WR sans XL. Metchie is sneaky good and just like Dowdle last year he WILL BE the biggest under the radar singing of this year FA moves. I am warming up to the idea of Sadiq at 19 over defense. I'm just ready for every BY excuse to be gone, he doesn't have this or that. No he just sucks and we need to move on. Honestly I've said it before but this team has been depleted of so much talent over the years we really could go BPA and be fine. In DM I trust..........for now

That may be true but not having a competent and talented safety is what let Stafford cook us down the field in almost less than 1 minute and bouncing us out the playoffs. Scott is a liability in each level of the game IMO and a versatile player at that position can completely change the look of a defense just as much as a pass rusher. Knocked down passes big moments, turnovers, TFL, QB pressures on blitzes, etcetera. I'm not saying you don't want us to draft a safety, but most of us should agree that WE NEEEED a lights out safety on this team finally. If DM moves up a spot before Vikings and not give up much to snag him for us I won't be mad in slightest. This kid is a DAWG and I believe he could possibly be a staple on this defense the likes of the guys we still sing praises for Peppers, Kuechly, Davis, Rucker, Beason, Morgan, Gamble..............Thieneman?
