Good write up OP..... I may be the outlier here but I like our WR sans XL. Metchie is sneaky good and just like Dowdle last year he WILL BE the biggest under the radar singing of this year FA moves. I am warming up to the idea of Sadiq at 19 over defense. I'm just ready for every BY excuse to be gone, he doesn't have this or that. No he just sucks and we need to move on. Honestly I've said it before but this team has been depleted of so much talent over the years we really could go BPA and be fine. In DM I trust..........for now

Hes Short as Hell but Man I Like This Kid

Why tho? -
That may be true but not having a competent and talented safety is what let Stafford cook us down the field in almost less than 1 minute and bouncing us out the playoffs. Scott is a liability in each level of the game IMO and a versatile player at that position can completely change the look of a defense just as much as a pass rusher. Knocked down passes big moments, turnovers, TFL, QB pressures on blitzes, etcetera. I'm not saying you don't want us to draft a safety, but most of us should agree that WE NEEEED a lights out safety on this team finally. If DM moves up a spot before Vikings and not give up much to snag him for us I won't be mad in slightest. This kid is a DAWG and I believe he could possibly be a staple on this defense the likes of the guys we still sing praises for Peppers, Kuechly, Davis, Rucker, Beason, Morgan, Gamble..............Thieneman?

Vrabel and Russini? Athletic investigating.
BEASTfromdaEAST replied to TD alt's topic in Carolina Panthers
Its not just about them hooking up. She's has been consistently the one apparently stirring stuff up about Brown to Patriots or Crosby to Pats, etc. She is notoriously known for lying blatantly about what is going on inside a organization to push a certain narrative. With no sources continuously dogged the Jets and other organizations without any proof what so ever. Pats doing Pats things and she a hoe......... -
MIke Kaye revised mock. April 6

We got to come out of the first 3 rounds with 2 defensive guys in my opinion......whatever combo of DL,LB n DB. Find OL depth later n call it a day. I know what our offense can be with BY no matter what weapons he has. I believe our defense is so close to being dominate (I really do!). We almost have the pieces and this draft is perfect for that. -
Look at the WRs in recent drafts around 19
BEASTfromdaEAST replied to Basbear's topic in Carolina Panthers
Nice elaboration I still believe you cant keep investing that type of draft capital in a position dependent on a QB that cant carry the team. BY nor this team is built like that. Not to mention not a single team in the HISTORY of the NFL has drafted WR in the 1st rd in 3 consecutive years! Would a Tepper led team be the dumbest and first to do it? Possibly unfortunately -

BEASTfromdaEAST replied to Basbear's topic in Carolina Panthers
And Amon Ra St. Brown was a 4th rounder it's all irrelevant..... This year crop on WR seems pretty deep and if we draft a WR 3yrs running in the 1st RD that's some pathetic sh*t not being able to find talent elsewhere -
Chubba roster spot is almost guaranteed on this team IMO.....our RB room sans Dowdle at this point is bottom of the league in talent. DM doing his due diligence in wanting to possible upgrade a position of weakness in this years draft. Emmet Johnson behind our Online would be exciting, but wouldn't be willing to spend a 2nd to get him. Of goes 3 maybe even 4th you jump all over the value. Anyone who thinks AJ Dillon will be a contribution to the room is smoking PCP on the reg. Etienne possibly contributes and Brooks is a BIG? So, Chubba is safe from being on the block, good clickbate though OP!

Tony Pauline’s 2026 NFL Mock Draft 4.0
BEASTfromdaEAST replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
I think DM and FO have done a better job this year smoke screening people not knowing which way they are going in this draft..... Every mock of ours I see is completely different which I see has a big advantage if we end up making moves during draft -

What are these "good feelings" OP mentions? When has anyone ever felt good about BY play year over year? If you do wtf kind of football are you cool with watching or supporting? -

Chad Reuter of NFL.com 4-round mock draft
BEASTfromdaEAST replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Keep mocking Sadiq to us all day so we drum up a nice trade down scenario for us to cash in on some more draft picks AND land a monster on Defense! That mock is horrible and don't like it -
D-Mo on FA & some of my general thoughts
BEASTfromdaEAST replied to TD alt's topic in Carolina Panthers
Great insight I'll always be happy when Panthers are winning but to give credit to an owner who is easily bottom barrel is not in reality imo. Keep being cool with mediocrity and proofing my point -

BEASTfromdaEAST replied to TD alt's topic in Carolina Panthers
This fan base and being cool with mediocrity is infuriating. Making excuses for billionaires who had no business imploding a franchise and making us the Browns of the South. Good on you man being a glass half full kind of person, I am not. I have zero faith in Tepper "evolving" and quoting Morgan in saying they been easy to work with is not any evidence of that actually happening. I'm sure if I go back and watch Fitt, Rhule and Reich pressers they said the same b.s. towing the line jargon to appease their boss. Stuff like, O they've been great, such great collaboration or some crap. Give me wins that is the ONLY analysis I need to judge are clown of an owner..... -

D-Mo on FA & some of my general thoughts
BEASTfromdaEAST replied to TD alt's topic in Carolina Panthers
Sorry man you lost me at "Teppers have evolved as owners". Limped into playoffs at 8-9 not even above .500 Tepper is trash as an owner bro and that's not even a discussion at this point. 37-83 w/l ratio. Nuff said.... Morgan tho, he's cooking and it ain't cuz of Teppers leadership -
Which side of the ball needs more help?
BEASTfromdaEAST replied to micnificent28's topic in Carolina Panthers
I think most people have the same consensus with going Defense 1st but honestly I think this team has been lacking talent for so many years that we could really still go almost any position on the field and truly just keep picking BPA when the Panthers are on the clock. It could be WR at this point or an OL which I would be fine with as long as the impact is immediate. Not to beat a dead horse but a QB has to be chosen sometime within this draft. I really do think BY is so ineffective and inefficient that getting some legit competition outside of just Pickett is a much needed upgrade that DM has to keep up with...... As far as what I would want is outside a QB is someone who can terrorize an Offensive game planners scheme, so whether that is Safety, IDL or my preference in ILB. After this successful FA period for once DM has really set himself perfectly to go BPA and keep this momentum rolling into a season where we FINALLY are hopeful for the future. -
At this point its Sadiq or bust... A
BEASTfromdaEAST replied to micnificent28's topic in Carolina Panthers
Everyone keeps arguing all these teams have great TE's that made them successful. THATS BS! What makes those teams great is QB play and we don't have that. So again even getting a NON-INLINE TE who can run a fast 40 time isnt going to get us anywhere without competent QB play consistently. Which we don't have by a long shot. So honestly all these great teams have a TE argument doesnt hold water to me. Mahomes would be nasty without Kelce, Lamar would blow you away without Andrews, does it help? of course any weapon will help but only if you have someone making those correct reads week to week. When we have that then I'd be all in on a game breaking TE but unfortunately we are stuck with one of the most inconsistent starting QB's currently in the NFL. Not to mention all the TE's mentioned are COMPLETE TE's not just a receiving threat with drop issues which Sadiq does. Argue all you want but nothing will change that fact other than getting a consistent QB week to week in a Panthers uniform which doesnt seem to be happing anytime soon. -

BEASTfromdaEAST replied to micnificent28's topic in Carolina Panthers
I've watched enough BY Panther games to know he ain't it regardless of whatever PFF numbers ppl look at. Drafting a non-inline TE isn't going to help. You obviously feel different but until we get a legit QB I don't see spending another 1st rd pick on a weapon that his limitations won't be able to utilize properly. This team with sure will and some luck got us to the playoffs not QB play by far. People have quickly forgotten this obviously -

BEASTfromdaEAST replied to micnificent28's topic in Carolina Panthers
My logic is BY can't hit the broad side of barn most the times or even get the ball out. So what's the point of drafting a player that high that won't get the most out of him. Especially when we still need more on the OL to protect his 5'9" frame -
BREAKING: Panthers re-signing Nick Scott
BEASTfromdaEAST replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Worst move of the off season so far.......BY FAR -
YES BY is not the answer and everyone who says different has a short term memory on all the horrible game play he has put on film. At times its bad like REALLLLLY BAD.

BEASTfromdaEAST replied to micnificent28's topic in Carolina Panthers
No offense but if anyone can look at BY stats or just watch a game for the last 3 years and determine he's "not bad" than I personally wouldn't trust their assessment of talent. Backup level at best. You're right my problem is more with BY than the player because if you draft a TE that high you need to get the most out of that pick (Warren/Bowers) and I have ZERO faith that BY could do that or this offensive coaching staff for that matter.
