  1. Scott Wright is a great mock drafter. He has a great track record when it comes to predicting picks since the 90s, though he always does rounds 1-3. Unfortunately he updates his mock like 3 times a year. Here is his final mock. http://www.draftcountdown.com/sub/Mock-Draft-A.php He has 1. DJ Humphries 2. Devin Smith 3. Justin Hardy as our three picks. what would you think about that draft?
  2. cedric ogbeuhi would piss me the fug off. i would go from rock solid to flaccid in an instant.
  3. We don't need a guard guys. Collins ceiling is a phone booth RT.
  4. is davis tull still under the radar? b/c i want him.
  5. Gettleman spent over 10 years with the giants. If anything its the offensive line he'll end up neglecting. Giants always take offensive and defensive playermakers over o-line.

  7. He will be the pick. It came to me in a peyote vision.
  8. yeah i'll admit im wrong there. i just glossed over his stats with the bears on NFL.com and they seemed pretty good. cams better than quitler so no surprise there. i still stand by what i said with lafell being an overall improved player with brady, but he's a poo player in the grand scheme of things, so whatever. not worth having a shitstorm over. have a good night
  9. Doesn't mean poo in football when you have a lot more variables in the way, like say, Quarterbacks ability which is what this topic is all about. I already addressed that with the projected fantasy football stats example in the same post, so I would suggest you focus more on reading comprehension to go along with that community college education that you're proudly flaunting tonight.
  10. You are right about Lafell in Cams first year. However he had a much reduced role back then, starting only 6 games. Teams had to focus on Olsen/Shockey duo and Smith before Lafell. The 2013 Panthers and 2014 pats had a #1 TE (Olsen/Gronk), number 1 receiver (Smith/Edelmen) and Lafell was the 2. Much similar situation for Lafell which grants a better comparison. Olsen is pretty much the same (or slightly better) TE he was with Cutler. I don't remember who the hell the bears trotted out as QB in his first two years. Smith? Clausen, enough said. Ginn? Was never a factor in the 49ers offense. Cam did a good job resurrecting the Panthers offense for a year... but Panthers O has been below average to terribad ever since. Not all his fault though.
  11. uh no, i was the one who simply said that lafell had the best season of his career in NE. and i used real life, tangible stats to give some backing to that statement. you were the one who decided to give him ~30 imaginary plays when you know football stats and plays isn't as simple as that. otherwise fantasy football websites would be able to accurately predict the final stats of a player after 8-9 games to a T, instead their "projected numbers" columns are always poo and way off the mark. im not really sure what you're trying to say with that last paragraph btw. clearly olsen and smitty have better hands than lafell. until they play a season with brady we wont know if that's their ceiling or not so its a moot point.
  12. your attempts to bring lafells carolina stats up by averaging the pass intended stats is a dumb way to make cam look better. yes, NE throws more than carolina, you aren't factoring that brady is much better at throwing passes through tighter windows than cam, who usually gets a bit skittish if the coverage is tightened up, which results in less targets. then you aren't factoring things like how often he gets subbed in/out. it's completely pointless stat twisting. the catch % is pretty much all you need to know that lafell in NE is better than lafell in CAR. and using the fact that cam doesn't have much touch and just bullets the ball most of the time is a pretty retarded badge of pride imo.
  13. Lafell was poo in his first two games in NE. He got much better and put up more consistent numbers after that.
  14. Going to have to disagree there. 2011 was a combo of the option finally breaking through into the NFL (with the help of Cam), and many of the old offensive vets from the Fox years having one last hurrah as they benefited from Chud being a mad scientist. It wasn't going to last, and it didn't. Chud's offense in 2012 was decidedly below average, much like Shulas.
  15. If we sign a QB to a 100 million deal, guess what, the QB pretty much has to be the offense. And we've seen that, outside of 2011, a Cam focused offense is below average. Cam has his strengths, but one of his weaknesses is that he just doesn't make players around him better like Rodgers or Brady or Peyton do. You'll never hear from Erick Decker or Julius Thomas again. Greg Jennings stock collapsed after leaving GB. And Brandon "Stone Hands" Lafell had a career year with Brady. Blame Shula or the world all you want, but it's an unfortunate reality about Cam. He can be a great cog of the offense, but he can't be the offense.
  16. http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/eye-on-football/25151841/would-seahawks-let-russell-wilson-walk-gm-hints-that-its-possible Basically says that keeping the legion of boom in tact is more important than Wilson. Wonder if Gettleman would do the same for Cam. These QB contracts are crazy and are crippling their teams. Despite what many on here believe, Cam isn't close to being an elite QB, but he wants elite QB money. oh well, flame on.
  17. wow you really showed how badass you are with that windows 98 era gif from www.memecenter.com treat me to some chuck norris jokes next please
