Maybe you’re right, but either way he’s going to have to deal with PR… He’s the head coach of a NFL franchise. Also, wouldn’t you want to try and iron out those problems in 4 games that don’t count than just in practice or before real games start? I’m a huge golfer and play in tournaments all the time. I practice and play in dog fights to prep for tournaments I have coming up, not just practice.

Well I’m not talking about just one player… I’m talking about the team. I’d also argue they need to play a half. Again, these guys need experience more so than any team in the league IMO.

I get that, but they're still going to play in a 17+ game season. Bryce isn't Mahomes, Leggette isn't DK Metcalf, Sanders isn't Kittle, etc. These young dudes need as many reps as possible especially in a brand new system with brand new players and coaches.. Burrow and Chase have a connection because they've played with each other for like 7 years at this point so I understand if they don't play, but yet they still are? Hell, Burrow is coming off a bad injury from last year.

I don't understand the worry about injuries. I mean, what's the difference in Bryce or any starter getting injured today versus week 1? I think the live reps against real competition in pads is needed especially for a young team like this. There's a reason Burrow, Lawerence, Allen, etc are getting snaps.

AFS Podcast - Brugler's Latest Intel on the WR class
SazmoRanger replied to Bear Hands's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yeah, I like his skill set, but I’m not sure he’s what we need…. Now I think him in KC he’d do hella damage with Mahomes… I guess that’s any good receiver though lol. -

Surprised on Leggette’s ranking just based on many mocks having him going in the 1st half of the 2nd round all the way to some having the Bills/Chiefs taking him. I just hope if we take one of these dudes we hit on him. We need weapon talent more than any team in the NFL. -
He’s my number 1 target at 33. This just sealed the deal for me. Too funny.

I mean, cool. To each their own. MHJr will still be the first non-QB prospect off the board so many people have an opinion that differs from yours. -

I think a lot of you are comparing generational PROSPECT with generational PLAYERS. The term generational prospect gets thrown around a lot more than it should. A generational prospect checks all the boxes possible. Like Trevor Lawrence… size, arm, cognitive, pedigree, character, etc. All of the boxes were checked off making him a generational PROSPECT. That doesn’t mean he’s guaranteed to be a generational PLAYER. On the flip side, Mahomes wasn’t considered a generational PROSPECT, but that doesn’t mean he’s not a generational PLAYER. MHJr checks off all the boxes possible. -
Can you blame them though?

REPORT: Ben Johnson wants $15 million per year
SazmoRanger replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Replace Chargers with literally any NFL opening besides ours haha. Ben Johnson is the hottest name out there. Raiders and Bears are both more attractive. Then add in the possibility of ATL, Jets, Patriots, Bucs, Commanders. Why would BJ come here? -

Everyone knows he’s so f*cking desperate for Ben’s Johnson that Ben’s people are saying 15mil so he can settle for $13mil from the Chargers haha -
I’m about 78% sure Kellen Moore will be the next head coach
SazmoRanger replied to hepcat's topic in Carolina Panthers
The Chargers only scoring 6 points yesterday against the Patriots seems like the perfect foreshadowing for Moore to Carolina. I can see it. -
I’d take temporary right now. 2015 was a LONGGG time ago.
-
Why is this always brought up? He’s been at Michigan 1 year shy of a decade and that makes him one of the longest tenured coaches in the Power5 currently…. A decade is a LONG time in Power5 coaching. He was with the 49ers for 4 years before him and the 49ers MUTUALLY parted ways. if Harbaugh wants this sh*t job, he should be given the keys and a BJ from Tepper.

I’m sure there’s many people out there that would like to make 10’s of millions of dollars by failing and only having to work half the time they agreed to. Seriously though, these high ranking NFL job guys think they are better and can fix other people’s mistakes. There’s many people who would take this job. Also, look at the Browns/Lions. They were in our position not too long ago.

Week 7 Other NFL Games thread

How is Robinson 3rd on the depth chart today and doesn’t even get a single touch? Haha -
There’s no logical reasoning on keeping Fitterer past this season. The only thing positive I can say about him is he’s extremely professional in the way he acts and talks. This team has a problem with a lack of talent and the best way to remedy that is building through the draft. Fitterer hasn’t drafted one single difference maker in the draft his entire time here. Not a single one. This is why we lack star talent and have NO depth. On top of that he’s made all the wrong decisions with player personnel and trades. ALL of hid trades have been horrible. You have to stop the bleeding and if Fitterer isn’t the knife, he’s the hand holding it. He’s got to go.
