  1. Yeah I'd be curious to see how things change. I don't know if there's a 1st round guy at 30 at CB.
  2. I said it was amusing. Calm down. And ftr, Henry did most of the legwork for his offense that night. Legwork Fournette wasn't able to get done.
  3. This is a very modern interpretation of "a 3 down back" whereas it used to be a criticism for smaller pass catching scat backs who couldn't be a feature back-the kind of thing that is all the rage for most teams currently but perhaps not us.
  4. Calling Fournette an obvious 1st round pick while saying that Henry doesn't have the talent to be one is a bit amusing given their head to head matchup
  5. Voathe has been pretty adamant on twitter that we like Utah RB Devontae Booker. What are your thoughts on that Igo?
  6. I may finally get to see a panthers snow game this year.
  7. Derrick Henry is going to be a monster in those cold weather games down the stretch.
  8. Hope we don't take Dodd or Lawson, Daquan Bowers was also a DE at Clemson
  9. Unfortunately you have posters conduct entire strawman arguments based on a circular reasoning loop of logic that is rooted entirely of what these guys saying they are doing in press conferences
  10. lol compelling argument with a great touch of originality in your cop out insult too. I'm rubber you're glue whatever you say bounces off of me and sticks to you
  11. The biggest issue facing our society today (slightly exaggerated) are people who actually believe that the people doing press conferences for their favorite team actually believe the things they're saying and aren't just echoing age old tropes in an effort to get back to their lives as fast as they possibly can, which means every time legitimate draft discussion comes up on this board, you have some pseudointellectual dork saying "breh? Why all these words and great analysis? We just gonna do the BPA bro! Heh! Why should I worry when we doing the BPA" Gettleman just took another player at a position of need.
  12. The history you speak is chock full of Hurney driving home the importance of BPA, whether in pre draft pressers or as a defense for not taking the players he was "supposed" to take afterwards, and every sheep on this board taking it as a parchment of sacred knowledge still persists to this day " but but Hurney=bad and Gettlemagic=good so there's no way he could've actually been doing that because BPA never fails!
  13. Here's where the typical revisionist history comes into play as the apologists assemble to arms
  14. 'Going BPA' is an anachronism from the Hurney era that people on this board still perceieve to be a shard of ancient knowledge passed down through our ancestors long ago to us as a sliver of hidden wisdom that the rest of the league has never heard of
  15. I don't know if I view TE as a full on 'luxury' The team has to evolve from what it was offensively last season and it has to make sure we've got an elite TE for the future I still think we also absolutely have to walk away from this offseason with some legitimate new impact players on defense as well, but i wouldn't consider a TE to be absolutely frivolous.
  16. I'd say this is probably the guy most of us will agree is the desired target in the 1st. The combine will be pretty big in terms of us knowing if we can pencil him in as the guy in April or if we think he'll be selected too soon.
  17. How is Roman so definitively out? The guy supposedly just had a scratch below the eye. Sometimes man.
  18. There was a horrible no call on a flagrant hold on that drive. Cost us.
  19. And a ticket to the game for that matter
