I don’t really like using back to back 1st rounders on WRs, but going offense makes sense. the reality is that offense is more valuable than defense. It’s far, far easier to buy defensive talent than it is offensive talent. Look at what guys on second contracts are making. The Panthers may have a star studded WR room for next to nothing, a big advantage, which is especially important when you’re paying big on the OL. Wouldn’t be surprised if Moton gets extended soon.

Evero didn’t really earn much input at the war room board this past season. its kind of a tough call. It’s exceedingly unlikely he’s fired after this season because the defense has literally nowhere else to go but up. But he hasn’t done anything to suggest he should have a big chair when it comes to making the draft decisions. A lot of players have complained about the way they were utilized-and gone on to do better elsewhere. but if he’s going to be here….

I’m as bold as anyone when it comes to the draft but this roster really just needs a base hit in the worst way. We’re not far off but they really need a couple impact players to take them over the top. if they do something like this they better be right.
