oh no not the flashy sports car people again I thought we finally shamed all these people away

another career journeyman to be sure

Guys it's simple really, the smart and prudent thing to do is: 1) never invest at all 2) never take chances 3) never do anything that rocks the boat 4) never embrace current thought on roster construction 5) just hope for the best and wait for generational players to fall to us in the middle of the draft without giving anything up or doing anything at all 6) hope this all happens soon you crazy madden players just need to understand how things are actually done let the draft come to you, let the league dictate circumstances to you it's simple guys #playitsafe #HopeForTheBest

lol yeah they really went out and got an efficient game manager
-
if this turns out to be true I would worry that ownership or the Deep Scouting side has the same awful ethos that you'll find on this forum, where the same 10 posters are always suggesting we wait until the next class when the perfect prospect may fall to us whereever were drafting unless you're picking at #1, the guy you're taking has question marks, and those question marks will look a certain way relative to each position you don't pass on talented players just because you're waiting for the perfect prospect perfect scenario unicorn that never comes

Sax's Panthers Plan (or reality?): Trey Lance | QB | NDSU
Growl replied to saX man's topic in Carolina Panthers
Falcons fans seem to think they aren't going QB, and after the Ryan restructure I doubt it too -
Sax's Panthers Plan (or reality?): Trey Lance | QB | NDSU
Growl replied to saX man's topic in Carolina Panthers
the niners packed in at Lance's pro day and then made this trade shortly after Fields hasn't even had his and if you're giving up three 1's and change for a guy, especially without a combine, a PD is the kind of thing you wanna see couple that with them telling garrappolo and the media they want him to start this season, and it suggests pretty heavily they're looking to redshift a developmental guy arrows seem to be pointing Lance -
Doug pederson should never have to pay for his meal in Philadelphia ever again
-
I told every single person here as soon as Bridgewater was signed we would be sitting here rationalizing awful ideas like this in phase 2 of QB purgatory next it'll be the mid round developmental guy who "really has some upside, Russell Wilson etc etc"
-
sam darnold? To do what exactly?
-
Voth may honestly be worse than darin Gantt and that's a real feat
-
you're right, we'll be superb if the guard from Minnesota has anything to say about it
-
guys that LB from Los Angeles is really going to change the fortunes of our organization
-
lol Denzel perryman Edit: also "the guy from Arizona" More lol
-
we had a tread-water free agency period which saw us add virtually no meaningful contributors at areas of need and we now have no QB after Watson imploded right in front of us and Lynch jumped us specifically only to rub it in our faces on live television forget about moving down to stockpile future 1s for Howell, that trick only works if teams want to come up for a QB that is no longer there we are in the suck now boys
-
this has been honesty one of the worst offseasons I can recollect
-
I like Mac Jones a bit and I'm about to use a lot of data watching YouTube videos convincing myself that I love him
-
Chris Simms apparently thinks that they traded up for Mac Jones
-
I bet the team is talking themselves back into Watson right about now
-
lol if we trade anything for any of these market rejects it will be acid in the wound
-
Lawrence Wilson Lance look pretty locked in at 1 2 3 5 6 7 don't look poised to go QB QB4 could still be there but it really depends largely on Atlanta and what they do that's the trade up spot and we probably aren't the falcons preferred partner
-
Its not crazy, this is how the league works now People too scared to ever make a move will watch as their teams get left
-
I really like how quickly Jones processes, elite tier
-
this is the way the NFL works now
