  1. 10 second play and we still cannot get someone open down the field
  2. you can’t win in this league if you can’t force a turnover once or twice a game, we’re starting every drive on our own 10
  3. this is probably the worst offensive line I’ve ever seen on a professional field
  4. you’ve got to try it but unless there’s an irrational fixation on the QB (there is) hopefully that will shut people up about this team’s ability to throw the deep ball
  5. literally every time he comes in the drive stalls out
  6. reminder that Corbett was initially injured in a meaningless game so that the panthers could pretend to audition Steve Wilks nobody had the brass on their desk to go down there and say “let’s not risk the starters” massive, massive consequences for Corbett and the offense as a whole worst owner in sports bar none
  7. Sam darnold over Testaverde and DA the Tampa slayer? lol nah
  8. I don’t even know why we’d be comparing Young to Dalton, the two are at completely separate points in their careers. the only people who want that are coming from the angle of “we need to see if it’s Bryce fault so he can be criticized!” what does that accomplish? The team isn’t waging a debate with you. They’re proceeding as if he’s going to be the QB for a while. The goal is to help him develop, not throw meat to people who are out to see him fail. They aren’t evaluating, they’re developing. he’s going to be the QB here next season.
  9. yeah they are absolutely going to spend big in free agency, don’t know why you’d assume otherwise
  10. this has been far and away his biggest issue. the most consistent mistake he makes is coming off reads too early. He works his way through his progressions so fast that he’ll give up on guys right before they come open. Then he starts buying time and holding onto the ball, hoping things break down downfield i mean I get it. The line’s garbage and our receivers are the worst in the league at separation. Even the guys that come open don’t tend to stay that way. All that messes with your internal clock. But he does need to hit that back foot, give it that extra heart beat from time to time, and throw it.
  11. wow buddy you can read now, you’re getting there, keep at it!
  12. show me where on your undersized frontal lobe where the big words hurt you
  13. more emotional posters here can’t dissociate from what they’re seeing right in front of red has a legacy of emotional doo posting
  14. it’s really not that hard to find good interior line depth, they’ve just been completely disinterested in doing it there’s no way Andrew norwell would be worse than this dude
  15. saying “stop comparing him to the greats!” Is a cheap, lazy, and I suspect intentionally intellectually dishonest way of missing the actual argument that was presented. he’s listing those players because they’re all time greats and thus familiar to broader audiences. Those examples he listed are, obviously, one of many, many, many instances of the historical norm that a rookie QB plays the way that Young has in their rookie season. 17 27 62.96 193 1 3 thats the stat line from the penultimate game of Trevor Lawrence’s rookie season, which btw, was not his worst game of the season. Young will have another game this season like the one he had Sunday. On the other end, he will have other games like the ones he’s had over the past month. None of that will mean anything until we get into next season, and no amount of “I saw him look sad on camera” or “THROW THE BOMB AND EXCITE ME” or “why won’t he just dab? Is he not charismatic enough??” is going to be rooted in any kind of meaningful evaluation. not that the most of that ever would constitute a meaningful evaluation, but you see posters make stupid comments like that unironically all the same.
  16. ignore the dude, he made some weird comments about Young’s religious belief (as well as Reich and Stroud, who he was just as down on lol) he was a huge Sam darnold stan who melted down once he realized they were punting that guy as quickly as they could and then started making weird discriminatory comments about Bryce and Cj because of what they believed he was also nowhere to be found after the Texans game like lol
  17. His line at Alabama was bigger than his line here, and nothing about Bryce’s height is driving protection schemes. It doesn’t work that way. His passing chart over the middle of the field remains exceptional. the issue is that you have overmatched linemen who are being asked to do something they weren’t asked to do much last season: pass pro
  18. “this line was built for road grading” then they should all be moved, you have to be able to pass pro first and foremost in the nfl weve tried to open it up twice over the past two games and they immediately collapse, icky killing the opening drive with a horrendous sack is a Panther tradition at this point, and he just sits there with that dumb blank stare looking left and right as if someone else is to blame
  19. I’m so tired of hearing about the scheme. Pass blocking assignments change very little from scheme to scheme. Bozeman has been exposed without two good guards next to him as the player Baltimore had no problem letting walk. Ekwonu is a LT who can’t get to the corner, can’t anchor against LBs, safeties, and small children who fall out of the stands and stray onto the field, and that punch he has is embarrassing. Throckmorton is a commentary on how disinterested they were in providing meaningful depth at thin positions.
  20. Yeah, MADE. Clothes had a Panther blue trim on the inside regardless of the outside color, so everyone, everywhere was wearing panther colors. Dude was one of the best things to ever happen to this team. anyways, he put up some real awful stinkers his first couple seasons with a much better supporting cast. I’m as frustrated as anyone by the ways things have gone but Bryce had played well the last four games and that’s with the weekly Ikem ekwonu opening drive, drive-killer sack and the stupid look on Bradley bozeman’s face every time a defender brains him in the pocket
  21. that’s because as the huddle’s dumbest poster the extent of your football iq extends strictly to “ball go fast” btw we all remember you here for that season vomiting the same bad takes up about cam-and over the course of his career-that you are now, you’ve got an enduring legacy as the worst poster on this forum so do me a favor and go back to rage mashing your opinions into the void while the rest of us use our well trained eyes to auto-scroll past anything you say.
  22. Reminded me a lot of the game at Detroit Cam’s rookie season
  23. yeah so it wasn’t actually a post about the bengals my man
  24. Is watching tee Higgins run through Buffalo the most exciting Panthers fans have had to enjoy this Sunday
  25. Where I’m at. Everything about this offense is comprehensively dysfunctional.
