Just kind of hit me the brilliance of the trade structure. Dalton will start first half of this year (unless drafted qb lights up preseason) at worst we will be picking around 8-12 in next year's draft. 2024 season this year's rookie will start for better or worse. If they're good it's a slam dunk trade. If they suck were picking top 3-5. So if the guy we pick sucks our draft position will be better in 25 vs 24. If he's good then it's worth the price we paid.

Leftwich was an average qb. Definitely not a bust. Wentz was great his first few years until he got hurt

Saints - Carr blah Falcons - Ridder ok lol Bucs - no one Eagles - Hurts pretty good almost a first round pick Giants - Jones shitty first round pick making 40 Million Cowboys - Dak who's always hurt or choking Commanders- going with Sam fuging Howell Packers - old ass Rodgers Lions - 1st rounder Goff maybe the best on this list so far Bears - fields is a first rounder that shows promise. Can't complete a pass and is probably top 5 in the nfc Vikings - Cousins is what he is, will never win a super bowl Seattle- Geno Smith was the best qb in the nfc last year to start but faded quickly when it mattered Rams - Stafford is washed 49ers - Purdy will be exposed once teams dive in this off-season Cardinals - Murray probably 6th best in NFC So I'd STRONGLY suggest taking the best guy we can get this year because it won't take Joe Montana to beat all these CHUMPS. you get your guy in the NFC and you're competing for playoffs right away and super bowl appearances beyond next year

Teams are going to try to outsmart everyone else and Levis and AR will go before Stroud. My best case scenario is those two ball out at the combine and Stroud is a bit lackluster.
