  1. Adam Silver handled it right with the Jeff Taylor situation, retroactively fining him the amount he made during his paid suspension.
  2. Rams looking to move up from 10. Draft value chart: http://www.draftcountdown.com/features/Value-Chart.php
  3. June 1st cuts have been around for awhile, but Early June 1st cuts are relatively new. Teams would have the option of cutting someone early to make room immediately, or wait until later and save more cap room come June. However, during that 3-month period most of the big FA will have found a home, so there's a tradeoff. During the lockout it was arranged to allow teams 2 Early June 1st cuts each season. This gives the player more time to find a new team and allows the team to avoid any additional payments (like roster and workout bonuses) for players who aren't in the team's plans. However, it should be noted that the additional cap space doesn't come immediately. Should Williams indeed be an Early June 1 cut, and it appears he will be, we will not receive the cap relief until June 1. It basically comes down to cutting him outright for $267k in savings March 10th, or designating him as an Early June 1st player and save $2.6m this year - but not until June - with the remainder amortized to next season.
  4. Rams bid $1 on Alex Carrington (I'm assuming that if no one bids on my right of first refusal guys that I have to at least initiate the bidding).
  5. Well I was willing to bid $21 too, so you weren't getting him anyway. Legitimately or otherwise.
  6. It's been on twitter, didn't start here. I didn't see the actual tweet but saw the commotion on there before coming here.
  7. There's a difference in a screenshot and an actual tweet/retweet. That won't show up in a newsfeed without someone else's handle attached. I didn't see it myself, but people are talking about it showing up in their feed... I think he got bad info and is now backtracking. Sounds like it came from his account so it's either that or he was "hacked."
  8. I think he's backtracking. It's also not just the Huddle talking about it.
  9. I'll go ahead and bid $21, but I don't think you could've offered more than $16. In which case I'll bid $17.
  10. That's not how that works. Would save about $6m though.
  11. Rams bid... $1 on Jake Locker $1 on Henry Hynoski $1 on Dwayne Bowe $1 on Donald Thomas
  12. Rams bid... $1 on Sherrick McManis $1 on Kendrick Lewis
