Ok, got a little ahead of myself. @MaryKayCabot Trent Cole arriving in Cle for his visit w/ #Browns. Will visit thru tomorrow afternoon then head to #Colts
-
Maybe this has been reported, but apparently Trent Cole is a Brown. @Pro_hunt58 It's good to be back in Ohio. #ClevelandBrowns #FreeAgency

Dammit why couldn't the fifth receiver taken in the draft come in and immediately be Calvin Johnson? He got outperformed by guys taken 15 and 20 spots before him? Kelvin Bustamin is more like it. Right guys?

Per Schefter Randall Cobb back to Green Bay on a 4-year, $40 million deal, per source.
-
Rams select Josue Matias, G, FSU.
-
Rapoport in particular bugs me sometimes. Dude tried to claim that he reported the Lynch thing first (even though I'm pretty sure it was Schefter) and then stated Paul Allen flew in from overseas to get a deal done. Even though it was widely reported that Allen was in Portland last night for the Blazers game and was in the locker room with Wes Matthews after his achilles injury.

And Wilson corrects himself. @RavensInsider Jacoby Jones' two-year Chargers deal has a base value of $5.5 million, according to a source Still. -
Panthers Hoping To Sign Oher and Ginn Before Tuesday

@RavensInsider Jacoby Jones' two-year Chargers deal has a maximum value of $5.5 million, according to a source I'd say that's more than fair for someone like Jones or Ginn. -
Jacoby Jones off the market. @RavensInsider Jacoby Jones two year deal with Chargers, per a source
-
@RapSheet #Saints WR Marques Colston, who had a $9.7M cap number, re-did his deal, source said (as @MikeGarafolo noted). He’s staying. @RavensInsider Colts announce they won't bring back Reggie Wayne

You Can Only Sign One Player in Free Agency Who Would it Be?
jdpanther5 replied to Cwood722's topic in Carolina Panthers
With Dez and Demaryius off the market, probably Suh actually. BPA. More realistically, Torrey Smith. -
I'd probably give Marshall a little over $8m per with no signing bonus vs. signing someone like Cobb eight figures with a bunch guaranteed.
-
Fake account, apparently. Though this seems to happen to Rapoport a lot.
-
Not much of Marshall's contract is tied up in a signing bonus (more teams should really structure contracts this way), so the Bears don't actually take a big hit if he's cut or traded. Though if not cut or traded by the 12th his 2015 salary becomes fully guaranteed, so there's a defined window for a potential Marshall move. If traded, new team would take on following salaries: 2015: $7.7m (Fully guaranteed March 12th) 2016: $8.1m (Not guaranteed) 2017: $8.5m (Not guaranteed, but jumps to $9.2m if team reaches Super Bowl)

I really doubt he cares.
-
Yeah, but the O'Leary pick is a third rounder I obtained from Pittsburgh.
-
Rams select Nick O'Leary, TE, Florida State.
-
A kicker gets tagged most years...also I know McAfee and Weatherford are punters that have been tagged, probably a few others.
-
Rams select Alex Carter, CB, Stanford.
-
I was worried you would, actually.
-
At 56, Rams select their third-ranked QB, Garrett Grayson of Colorado State.
-
Trade talks. Rams agree to send the 41st pick to the Steelers in exchange for picks 56, 87, and 197.

There are people online right now who I've sent messages to, I wish they would check them...

Hardly "official" until it comes from the team.
