Reads more like a 5th for Mike Wallace and a 7th.

@AdamSchefter Vikings traded 5th-round pick to Miami for WR Mike Wallace and 7th-round pick, per league source. So much for that AP trade...

Is it Panthers related?

Heh, think I found NcPsa10's source on these long posts. NFL Notes: Adrian Peterson, Cowboys, Rams, & Saints Adrian Peterson Despite Adrian Peterson‘s father recently saying that his son and the Vikings were likely to meet again in the coming days, Charles Robinson reports that the two sides do not have any more meeting scheduled. According to Robinson, there have been no changes from Vikings’ standpoint on Peterson. Minnesota knows Peterson is still unhappy with this situation, but they would prefer to hold onto him and intend to keep him at his current price. Cowboys Todd Archer points out that the Cowboys actually paid RB Ryan Williams a larger signing bonus ($240,000) that what Darren McFadden received ($200,000) on the open market. Rams Rams HC Jeff Fisher tells Pro Football Talk that they were offered a low first-round pick for QB Sam Bradford, but he wanted to get QB Nick Foles. This is interesting considering that Eagles HC Chip Kelly told reporters that he received an offer that included a first-round pick for Bradford just a day after the trade with the Rams. Saints Matt Miller reports that the Saints have been telling players that were traded that they are “going all-in to build a defense.“ Miller refers to this year’s draft class as being “average” and questions the team’s strategy. According to Miller, New Orleans feels like they can find a replacement to WR Kenny Stills given the depth at receiver.

@AdamSchefter Saints reached agreement with former Bills RB CJ Spiller. Saints backfield getting crowded: Spiller, Mark Ingram, Khiry Robinson.

Looking back at last year: we didn't sign our first guy from another team until the third day of FA, and that was Mike McNeil. Four days later we signed Harper, then another 3 days until Cotchery. Ten days into FA we signed Underwood and Cason, then Webb a couple days after that. That was it for March, then we brought in guys like Avant, Dickson, and DeCoud in April but then we basically did nothing until the draft. So while we're moving slowly, we've stepped it up a lot from last year. It does, however, seem like we're still in the bargain bin (Teddy Williams?) but Ginn and Oher should (hopefully) be more impactful than most of the guys from last year.

@AdamSchefter Panthers free-agent DE Greg Hardy drawing more interest than some predicted: http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/12474789/greg-hardy-talks-unnamed-team-says-agent-drew-rosenhaus

@SI_PeterKing ICYMI, from a talk with Sea GM John Schneider, re Saints roster. - Schneider to NO GM Mickey Loomis: “Anything off limits?” - Loomis: “No."

Interesting saga surrounding untendered Saints FA Tyrunn Walker. Saints had the option to keep him for next to nothing, but instead let him go. Apparently, a bit of a bidding war commenced. @MikeGarafolo Per @skiernan78 Non-Tendered DL Tyrunn Walker signs $1.75M/1 Yr w/ $750k Bonus w/ @lions Over $200k more than RFA tender of $1.542M. Usually, when a guy doesn't get tendered (in this case, by the Saints), he has to settle for much less. Walker got more from Detroit. @Rand_Getlin Non-Tendered DL Tyrunn Walker signs a one-year deal worth $1.75M with the #Lions. Includes a $750K bonus, per @skiernan78. The deal Tyrunn Walker signed is worth over $200K more than the RFA tender of $1.542M. Generated a bunch of interest. @RapSheet Per @SKiernan78, non-tendered DL Tyrunn Walker signs for 1-year, $1.75M w/ $750k bonus with #Lions. Played 28% of snaps. Had crazy interest. You’ve probably never heard of new Lions DL Tyrunn Walker. I hadn’t either. The amount of interest by smart personnel people was staggering. "Smart personnel people" - Rapoport's words - apparently loved the guy. I guess that explains why the Saints didn't.

@BlackBlueReview great memory ——> RT @panther1gb89: @BlackBlueReview isn't he the one that hit Philly Brown early during the punt return td? Welp.
-
Also makes me wonder if Boykin didn't impress yesterday.
-
Maybe, though this time last year we extended Dockery only to eventually cut him... ...then bring him back midway through the year, then let him walk today. Point remains.
-
5 years, 17 games, 3 tackles. Special teams.
-
@OmarKelly The Vikings are trying to move Cordarrelle Patterson, but there's A REASON (he can't learn the offense).
-
Hell, no guaranteed money I'd give him a shot. For anything else though...
-
@RavensInsider Colts cut Trent Richardson and Michael Hill
-
Funny enough, for all his whining about it going too slow, Chuck has been on the clock for 3 days now.
-
Good Lord, why are we already condemning the guy to a career as a Gordon or Blackmon? These things should be taken case-by-case, for every knucklehead that couldn't get out of his own way there is another who turned it around. Not to compare the severity of their transgressions, but there are many that thought Cam's "character issues" would be the reason he would flame out, but fortunately we didn't feel the same. I'm sure the team will do its due diligence and make an informed decision.
-
Semantics. I should've said "receiver out of Liberty" then.
-
Former Liberty receiver, we signed him to a futures contract along with Hill and Lucas.
-
@RavensInsider Jeremy Maclin five-year Chiefs deal $55M, $12M bonus, $22M gtd; salaries $750K, $9.75M, $9.75M, $10.75M, $10.75M; 2015-16 full gtd. Figured it'd have to be backloaded in order for them to pull it off this year. 2015 cap hit is only $3.4m but goes way up from there.
-
@RapSheet The #Colts are paying WR Andre Johnson $21M over three years, source said.
-
@AdamSchefter Andre Johnson is now a Colt.
-
You should tell him we're pretty set on 3s and 4s.
