  1. This guy is the best I've seen when it comes to evaluating the OL. Keep an eye out as the draft process rolls on, he usually puts out scouting reports. He thinks Trey Smith and Ben Cleveland were the best of the ones we coached. His Top OT was Dillion Radunz, Top G was Aaron Banks, Top C (and overall) was Creed Humphrey.
  2. I liked what I saw from him and DJ Daniel this week. Both looked great. Grant is a stud.
  3. It's a day behind it seems, but to track daily practice notes...
  4. If we're looking to revamp our offensive line, ECU OT D'Ante Smith could make a great athletic depth pieces with upside at the tackle positions. I've seen several clips of very strong reps from yesterday particularly at LT and RG. I wonder what his game tape looks like. 6050, 294 lbs, 35.25" arms, 10" hands, 85.125" wing.
  5. Anyone watch this Demetric Felton before? He's was a RB last season and a slot receiver the year before but I keep seeing him torching DBs. He's one of several potential Samuel replacements at the Senior Bowl. Toney and Eskridge also come to mind.
  6. Big fan of Onwuzurike. 3T with a ton of versatility.
  7. The Panthers have very close knowledge on a prospects Miami is coaching. Kenny Yeboah, TE, Ole Miss. He was recruited by Temple and there for 4 seasons. As a grad transfer he was going to go to rejoin Rhule at Baylor until he was hired by the Panthers. Then broke out at Ole Miss when they started using his pass catching skillset more. That type of knowledge is probably one reason Miami is coaching him at the Senior Bowl and can be very helpful in what looks to be another weird draft season. He could end up being a target late on day 2 or on day 3. P.S. - Weigh-ins are supposed to be tomorrow so keep an eye out for that
  8. Thanks for the correction. I'm not sure who benefited from who then. Grant I believe is the highest rated CB and Nasirildeen is the highest rated safety on our squad
  9. There was several announcements for late adds tonight. One is confirmed going to be coached by the Panthers... Here are the others officially announced...
  10. More OL help as a late add. A&M has a highly touted OL and Green has 41 straight starts at RT.
  11. He was an interesting prospect as a developmental TE last year because of his speed and ridiculous length. Guess he took some snaps at DE last year for Seattle when injuries struck but they were developing him as a TE before that. Project/back end of roster type guy. Joe Brady connection too.
  12. Lot of discussion on these prospects in here
  13. Nagy gives a good run down on what the LBs bring. Jabril Cox is a favorite of mine on our list.
  14. I know he's been used all over that FSU line but in the NFL he looks like he's being viewed as a Derrick Brown/ Vita Vea type.
  15. I know a couple of these guys. Wilson is mainly viewed as a NT. Basham is a bigger DE who can rush from the 3T on 3rd down much like Obada was used. Roche was a DE at Temple before Miami where he got a big boost playing opposite Rousseau. 3-techniques should be the focus and the only one I know who is one on this list is Sample who was a stud for Tulane but I haven't looked into why. I'm going to have to look into this group more. Anyone have notes on this group?
  16. It's similar age, position, contact length and value (adjusted for inflation). Yeah the pot would have to be sweetened because Stafford's talent is and should be viewed as greater. We'd also likely be offering a starting QB in return instead of a second year slot corner so that would be a factor too. Smith did also negotiate a contract extension with the Redskins trade too.
  17. The closest comparison I can find was the Alex Smith trade to the Redskins. Which cost a 3rd and a player. The player was Kendall Fuller, a young decent slot corner at the time, so you can guess how to translate that to what that draft compensation would equal. My guess is a 4th at best because he only had one year in the league at the time and was drafted as a 3rd round pick.
  18. His brother is the other late add. Another one to hope for the Panthers to coach
  19. I'd love the have the Panthers get a close look at him by coaching him. Very strong in the RZ and with contested catches. Was impressed by him when looking into Jamie Newman. Supposed to be another announced late add today. It seems with alot of the draft process cancelled and tweaked the Senior Bowl is getting alot of strong prospects entering late. Another highly rated prospect is expected to be announced today. And Najee Harris will be working with the Dolphins staff.
  20. You can build a championship team around him. QB Coach connection, can flip Teddy to cover a significant part of the cap hit, Lions can take in Teddy and still save a little cap space, Teddy has the Saints connection with the new head coach. We likely wouldn't lose our first in the trade either (maybe not even our 2nd) so much easier to build a contending roster. Stafford would be here on a 2 yr, 43 mil contract similar to what's left on Teddy's contract meaning he doesn't prevent you from drafting a successor.
  21. It's more reasonable for the Panthers to target Stafford. QB Coach connection, can flip Teddy to cover a significant part of the cap hit, Lions can take in Teddy and still save a little cap space, Teddy has the Saints connection with the new head coach. Alex Smith trade is probably a reasonable gauge which was a 3rd and a player
  22. He looks like a potential guard candidate. I've seen him compared to Robert Hunt, the Dolphins second round pick a year ago who started 11 games for them. Most at RT, though supposedly Miami wants him inside.
  23. Looks like another Alabama player and one of the top prospects at his position will be a late add.
