  1. Scared? Nah. Worried about it? Nah. Ego taking a bit of a beating? Nah. He's convinced he's doing this correctly. He doesn't understand how bad of an owner he is...yet.
  2. We should have known that we were in trouble when he quit. That was a flag and we all just assumed he wanted to fish.
  3. Never to cold to fish, and the season's never over....if you own a farm. Were I Luke...I'd buy a farm.
  4. There are cameras all over that place, not just inside. They have it on video..all but guaranteed, unless in a "private" residence.
  5. There is absolutely no way that I could live the "city" life and not have a truck...simply no way. The freedom is supplies me is invaluable. Hats off to ya, it's certainly like a lifestyle that would work for me.
  6. I think that CI's stuff is behind a paywall, but could be wrong. I think it's a cool idea, but I've found that if I'm cooking something that's really complicated, I still like a hard version....maybe that's the age showing. P.S. If you are trying to get into cooking, and I recommend ALL of you younger guys do it, buy some good equipment. Yes, it seems expensive, but most of the good stuff will last your lifetime, and not kill you with "non stick" crap. A 12" Stainless Steel All Clad pan. All Clad SS pot with lid. One really good chef knife (I prefer Japanese blades to European, but that's just me). 1 Lodge Cast Iron pan. One Lodge Dutch Oven w/ lid. P.S.S. I encourage learning to be a good cook for 4 reasons. Cheaper than eating out. Healthier than eating out. Better than eating out. Chicks dig guys who can cook....a LOT.
  7. I'm a fan...but at this point, I'd be a fan of any OL we take that can actually do his job reasonably well....especially a LT. If he's an All Pro G, and he's there at 6...I'm fine with it...but I think he's a LT.
  8. Subscribe to cooks illustrated, download their app. I cook every night...I mean, we may eat out once a month for dinner, and order in 1 night a month...the other 25+ nights, I'm cooking something really good. Rarely go by anything written down at this point, but I have been living like this for over 15 years. Start cooking at home and you will start losing weight and feeling better....guaranteed.
  9. Y'all should try building a house. To be honest, I'm really glad my two vehicles are made in the US, and there are TONS of parts for them. It's tough out there.
  10. Cancelled mine when it was bought out.
  11. Risk Monopoly I have "Catch a Killer" but haven't started it yet. I want to play that train game that's been mentioned in here. If drinking and whatnot CAH (new decks) and Exploding Kittens. I like to play long strategy based games...my buddies...not so much. I think I only have friends with ADD.
  12. It's very hard to point a gun at a fellow citizen and pull the trigger. This "thing" will have no issue with that at all. I have an eerie feeling that this will lead to more and more totalitarian governments, and many atrocities.
  13. The Wilmington write ups were kinda funny. All focused on boats, drugs, drinking, and having a tan.
  14. Reminiscent of us keeping Marty after Ron was shown the door.
  15. You haven't heard from Gruden because he's in a legal battle, his attorney has 100% told him to not open his mouth. As far as his DUI...that probably isn't what's holding him back, nor race...IMO...I feel it's his personality, his criminal history, and from the chatter last year, he was a very poor interview. Either way, I don't think it's blackballing, but I could absolutely be wrong.
  16. Being a criminal likely has something to do with it. Or being an Andy Reid offensive assistant coach. He has some not so pretty history...I'm not saying that he isn't qualified, I have no clue about that, but it's not like he's being blackballed for no reason.
  17. Not so sure about Atlanta, but NO could certainly rise again if they can get their hands on a good QB. Their cap is really bad, and I do believe they are about to see a pretty big roster churn, but they have been, and continue to draft well.
  18. Until otherwise known, I have to put most of the player acquisition on none other than Matt Rhule. Fitt looked like he knew what the was doing on draft day/weekend....but we will have to see if they can actually play football. We know Horn is good, Tremble looks like he can play....as does Brady...the rest we will be waiting to see.
  19. We were setup to do a full rebuild when Rhule got here, it would have lined up the aging out of the rest of the divisions QB's and cap space. Instead, we decided to try to win...about 2 years too early. Dumb Team.
  20. Shoes, coffee, music, sporting events, clothes, phones/tech etc...it's not the cup it's the premise.
  21. I have to be honest, this behavior is something foreign to me. Why spend the money just to spend it? Starbucks isn't even good coffee, and if you get the whipped up stuff...I just can't imagine how bad that is for someone. Make a pot in the morning, then drink water the rest of the day. Total cost...about $1.00 per day for liquids. If things are tight, the last place I'll drop money is in something that's bad for me, doesn't taste good, and I'm going to piss it out in 50 minutes. I see this all the time with Amazon, online shopping, Insta (especially women), I just don't understand the "high" people get when spending money....just doesn't compute.
  22. "If I'm being seen, at least they know I'm working". I encounter that a LOT in my business, it's typically the folks who get the least done who love to be around the others in the office. That's not me, I don't want to say hello to anyone, don't need to discuss the Cowboys over coffee, don't need the "office environment" at all. I want to get work done and go home, if I'm doing all those things, with constant interruptions I'll just never get it wrapped up. In no way can you do my business before 10 or so in the morning...still...a lot of the bosses want butts in the door at 8...just stupid and archaic. My next "job" I hope to be outside about 50+% of the time, and I'll own the company. Good luck you guys.
