  1. Big investors I deal with occasionally said 75 is the most likely.
  2. This is BS. No different than saying that the short guy shouldn't try out for the BB team, or the slender guy for the football team. Golfers in general are some of the nicest athletes I've ever been around.
  3. It's the lack of GAF for sure. Had a lot in me teens, less in my 20's, way more in my 30's....now....don't give a F.
  4. Hah, no worries. Yea, gotta quit that work stuff at some point. Only reason I'm on here as much as I am is how much down time I have at work. Need something to make me laugh between meetings and getting screamed at.
  5. Oh, for sure, I was responding to DD who had mentioned him and Russ. Leary is gonna be a good player this year as well, guessing he gets drafted this year. QB U right now.
  6. If you did NFL starts by college over the past 15 years, I would imagine that NCSU would be at the top. Don't forget Jacoby Brissett and Mike Glennon.
  7. He has one good thing going for him, that Sam doesn't... At least per their words...his natural instincts are almost alway right...or whatever that was he said... Sam is the opposite, it seems. He can see it, but once the ball is moving, he starts having trouble and his instincts aren't very good.
  8. This is, and was always going to be the problem with rookie QB's. Unless you are a phenom and just really really understand the game coming out....you are likely going to struggle...especially if you are on a decent to bad team. Just soooo much going on in front of you while preparing for the snap.
  9. MLB after Luke...although that one would have been tough to see coming. That said, we have never drafted well for depth...we try to fill starter roles in the 4th with a CB out of Miami of Ohio instead of drafting the Cade May's of the world. At least in the past.
  10. Love the kid. Making waves as a rookie...with DJ and Robbie...and a bad QB...was always going to be tough. Hope he starts to pop this season, and shows out in year 3.
  11. My experience as well. Passed down clubs, or the one of the golf coaches old sets...play as much as you wanted...hardest part was getting to the golf course, but we managed.
  12. There are positives and negatives no matter where you grow up. Inner city kids? They have all the things that come along with city life...LOTS and lots of "free" stuff out there. Growing up in a small town..(much of NC) has it's own set of positives and negatives. One being that things are cheaper....pretty much everything, including playing sports.
  13. Just hold off a little longer. Repo's will be back in fashion by the 4th quarter.
  14. I'm not sure what to think of Baker personally. Many people HATED Philip Rivers for years....then found out everyone who ever played with or against him loved him. I knew him (in passing) and had spoken to him quite a few times, super super nice guy...to anyone, except the other team on Saturday or Sunday.
  15. We are still rudderless. My God have we botched the QB situation here for the last 5 years.
  16. Maybe in cities, but not on small town courses...and if you had any talent at all, then you really got to play free. High School golf teams as well, that was free. Again, not saying that poor folks are out there all the time, but lower middle class and middle class folks play a lot of golf...much more than my "rich" friends.
  17. I was not impressed in year 1, and still trying to figure out if I'm impressed now...but as far as up or down vote, I'll go with up...for now. Of the three Kings up there, Fitts seems to be the only one that understands the NFL. That said, his free agency has been pretty damn bad...I don't know if Rhule had a lot to do with year 1 of that...and I'm guessing yes...so it's hard to say, but this years seems better. Robbie's and CMC's extensions and Sam's 5th year were real head scratchers for me, didn't like any of those moves.
  18. You are out of touch on this man. I didn't grow up rich, far from it, and I could play as much as I wanted...free. I know I'm not the only person like that. But go right ahead, think you have to be rich to be good at golf.
  19. Yea, but that doesn't mean you have to be rich to play, or be good at it.
  20. I'm still going to disagree with you on the rich thing,....as to the poor portion, no clue...but I bet a LOT of college players come from normal middle class families, never looked into the PGA and where they come from, but it's most famous player most certainly didn't come from a rich family.
  21. You can be a shrimp, a fatty, or a world class athlete to play that sport at a high level...but you do need some athletic ability. As far as "rich" I disagree with that, but I grew up in an area that it didn't work like that.
