    ​Agreed. Although he can certainly still play at a high level, we have two dudes on the cheap.

    ​Who is the leader on offense when they look out of sorts out there? I'm guessing Luke, TD, and Big Money are that voice on D, but who is the offensive player/players? Obvious choice is Cam, Kalil, and Olsen, just wondering your thoughts on the matter.

    ​Strangely enough, I feel kinda the same way. Strange. If he starts, cool, if not, he is a long term insurance plan for TD, weird feeling.

    ​As it stands, we have two 1000 yard pass catchers on this team. 1 of only 5 teams to have that. We added Ginn as a 3/4th option in the passing game, and a ST ace. Bersin and Philly have another year under their belts, and we added a very promising rookie in Funch. Calm the hell down.

    ​And I want my QB to never have INT's and complete passes at a 100% clip.... As it is, we don't know who the 5th will be, could be Cotch, Ginn, or Philly...are you saying that they don't "add anything to the team"?

    I honestly can't quite get my hands around the Hill love and the Bersin hate. Huge 3rd down, in a big game....who do you want trying to convert? The guy who can't catch, or the guy who makes tough possession type catches?

    ​Seattle had the perfect storm, got a good QB on the cheap with a good team already in place. We were the exact opposite...hence picking 1st overall. Lot's on this board say we wasted Cam's cheap years, and in a way we did. But if we were able to compete when Cam was a rookie, we would have never had a shot at him. We were a team in disarray, Cam helped straighten the course, and DG got it completely back on track. Now that we have our franchise guy locked up, DG has even more freedom. This is a good day.

    ​Not going to argue that, the point I'm making, is if you vies Cam as a "franchise" QB, then you probably need to view Wilson the same way. Do you think that Cam would have made the playoffs 2 years ago without our defense? Cam is a franchise guy, so is Wilson, it's not that hard to understand.

    ​I'm not thinking greedy, just a young really good QB with 2 SB appearances on his rookie contract. He has a ring, and is not going backward, he is pulling a Flacco, and betting on himself this season.

    ​For a player on their 3rd contract, with a top tier team, (Tom Brady) I can see that. But not your first big one.

    ​You are correct, he won't ask, his agent will. If you are an agent, and you have the best player at his position as one of your clients, you better get him paid the highest at his position. Either that, or you won't have a ton of clients going forward.

    ​No sir. MLB's just aren't as valuable. He will be the top MLB, but probably not the top LB, at least not for long, 34 OLB's get PAID.

    ​Wilson, no doubt. Nothing off field, young, good player on the rise. You can have a great D, but without a QB you aren't consistent enough to go to the dance year in and year out. That's what it takes to get a Lombardi.

    I thought Cam was leaving to promote his brand, and hated the Panthers for not giving in weapons? Weird. JK, I'm pretty happy about the contract, and the numbers. Glad we got him signed before Wilson and Luck.

    Ravens, Pats, or Steelers. We would be the new kids on the block, knocking off a one of the most consistent teams over the past 20 years. I would love to see some Ravens type consistency here in Carolina.

    ​I thought that he, Bridgewater, and Luck were the most "pro ready" QB's to come out lately. Jameis can play, and knows the game.

    Haplo E dude has some serious issues. I'm not sure which I would take if I had to redo the 11 draft. A lot would depend on how my QB situation looked. If it's like ours, yes you probably have to take Cam, if you are like.....say the Falcons, you take Watt.

    I will be on the boat all day Sat. Sun. and most likely Mon. Will also have a house full of friends from RDU and CLT. Should be a poo show, and I probably won't be on here at all.

    That's about how I see it. I'm guessing around 9-10 wins today, but it's May. Injuries are always right there knocking.
