  1. I'm just going to go right on out here and say it, I will not be excited about this offense until we get a legit NFL offensive coordinator. We will have a few games where we look "high flying" but in those games where we will really need scores, I just don't trust this guy.
  2. That's how I see it shaking down.
  3. I think this is a good possibility, with JP as a possible as well.
  4. The times, they are a changin.... Back in the day, you wanted your nimble, quick T to play on the left side, and the road grater on the right. It seems to me these days that it's not as important to build your line that way, but most would prefer the best pass blocker to take care of the QB's blind side.
  5. A lot of you are saying that RR has a huge vet boner, but I'm not so sure. This roster seems to be getting better, while also getting younger. Yes, we have Cotch, Roman, Cole, Edwards, etc...but there aren't a ton of expensive vets like Foxy's days here. TD, Big Money, Kalil, and maybe Stew are the only "starters" that are getting up there in years.
  6. He won't lose his job because he was caught with 2 grinders and a bowl. He will lose his job because he is not good at it, and got arrested 2 days before training camp. Let Olsen or Cam get the same ticket and see what happens.
  7. I don't really see an issue with him, I don't think that was a good idea, but some of you are being a little crazy about this stuff.
  8. I can't remember what they are called, but I think it's the "fast pass". Use them...a lot. Go get them in the morning and use them throughout the day. I did't like Hollywood, but I really enjoy Epcot. Make sure you ride Soarin.
  9. Tolbert, while listed as a fullback is not a traditional full back. Also, I suspect this will be his last year in a Panthers uni.
  10. Um...do your research. On both of these points.
  11. OH MY GOD. Any Coryell offense, or it's many strains needs a power running game that features a lead blocker much of the time. Tolbert is our H back/ Fullback, but he isn't the road grader that Lo Neal was in SD. Go back and look at the 06 Chargers, that's who you want to model the offense around. Two tall WR's, athletic TE that can catch everything, power runner in LT, lead blocker in Lo Neal, QB with big enough arm to take the top off defenses.
  12. Not at all, new condo projects, hotels, breweries, etc... Didn't mean to come at you, but I just don't think that the data is correct. Inside the city limits, yes probably only 100k plus people, but where the city ends and the county starts is nothing. The entire county is pretty much the city here.
  13. Too many to list. I do most things exactly the same way every day. From the way I shave, wash my hair, all the way to getting dressed and coming to work.
  14. BS. Much of this crime occurs in a very small piece of ILM. As to the white flight, can you tell me why there is a surge of development in the downtown area?
  15. Charleston has a better food scene, but worse boating, and lots more tourists. Wilmington is less expensive, and the job market is probably a little better, surprisingly. It's tough to "fit in" in Charleston, they aren't as receptive to outsiders as ILM is.
  16. Looks about right to me. One thing....why all the Joe Webb love in here? If Cam goes down, Anderson is the guy, and either way, we are screwed.
  17. And: High amount of tourists Low amounts of young boaters A Yank trying to fit into a city/state still semi fighting the civil war Positives: Great food scene Great drinking scene College of Charleston girls Ocean/ICW That said, I would make the move, and not think twice about it. However, if you want to live in the cool spots, your cost of living won't be that much cheaper. Rent in the nicer places down there is pretty high.
  18. Give me a scout at the top, not a money guy.
  19. I agree with you, to a certain extent. I just don't think it's a big issue. Where I do take issue, is what SS did, and had done for a while here. He had problems. Personally, I would prefer it not to happen, but to each his own.
  20. Did you ever play football at a higher level than pee wee or middle school? What you are saying is kinda true, it's not very mature to fight in practice, but that's just not how this sport goes. I can hardly remember a practice without someone getting mad and throwing a teammate to the ground or pushing/blocking too long. It's nothing.
  21. Except we couldn't score. You have to be able to score in the 20's in the playoffs.
  22. I'm going with the young guns until it backfires if I'm RR. This has not proven to be his line of thinking though.
