  1. "I've thrown 14 TD's before and made the playoffs" That ain't it boss....
  2. IMO, I think that Key makes it, and Hill is probably sent packing. Especially if he isn't fully back from the ACL, and still has concentration issues.
  3. Tillman tore his ACL late in the season and is an old CB. He may try to get in shape, but I don't think that he will be ready to play until mid season....at best. IF he still wants to play.
  4. I hope it doesn't happen this way, but I saw a little Jake meltdown from him in the NFCC game...he is 36 and has had some injury history. We shall see.
  5. Nobody starting to think that Carson may be wearing down?
  6. I'm not sure what you are trying to get at here? You asked if he didn't see room for improvement, I said of course he does, nothing else out of my mouth.
  7. Of course he does, Cam maturing more and learning more about defenses, KB coming back, Funch entering his 2nd year, etc...
  8. Do yourself a favor and stop posting, you are out of your league. Also, no follow up on my questions for you? Who, how, price, etc......Didn't think so. Just go away.
  9. DT, DE, S, CB, OT absolutely wouldn't shock me. WR, TE, RB, C/G I wouldn't be as crazy about, but I could see it. Only positions that would surprise me: LB, QB, K, P. That's about it. My preference would be pass rusher, pass protector, or lining up Star's or KK's replacement with the thought that we can't sign both.
  10. Whew...are you stinking this joint up or what? Let's just say that we are stuck in 1983, and players never regain the ability to play football after ACL tears....exactly who do you want to add, how would you make it happen, and how does it affect our salary cap? In addition, are you really happy about taking balls away from our talented young WR corps that we are putting together here?
  11. Which weapons exactly? Name them, explain how we get them, apply the contracts to our books, and let's have a grown up discussion. I will start....I want to add a huge red zone threat to our receiving corps...not a rookie....maybe one that has shown that he can contribute on an NFL field, maybe one capable of 1000 yard seasons and multiple TD's without a real threat on the other side to help him out. Now how on Earth do I find something like that?
  12. Ummmm, the Colts had arguably one of the greatest 5 QB's to ever suit up.
  13. The best way we can put it.....The Falcons did this....the Colts keep doing this.....etc....A balanced, consistent team has a much better shot at a Lombardi than "the greatest show on turf" or the offensive heavy Colts of Manning's younger years. You build this right, we can be competitive for 10 more years, not become a flash in the pan.
  14. I was aware of that with normal day to day contracts, but I wasn't when it came to the tag.
  15. Hm, didn't realize that. For some reason I thought once the tag was signed that was guaranteed fully.
  16. A few things that I would do in this situation. 1: Sign the tag, how much did JPP miss out on last year by not signing? 2: Skip anything that isn't mandatory, or costs me any money. 3: Make sure I'm ready for TC, and push my agent to make a long term deal, even if a bit lower than what I want.
  17. Two things to add to this post which gets overlooked sometimes. 1: There is a reason guys like him slide out of the 1st, even with immense talent. If the guy just "doesn't get it" that can push you down teams boards. 2: And some of us forget this....many of these guys get drafted in the top couple rounds, and think that they are rich. Lot's came from very little, and have never had "money" in their life. They get 2.5M guaranteed and think that they can buy nice cars, buy momma a house, and never have to worry about money. After year 1 or 2, a lot of that money is either in Uncle Sam's pocket, Drew Rosenhaus's pocket, or has slipped through their fingers....they really start to "figure it out" and realize that the HUGE deal they signed isn't nearly as big as they thought.
  18. May be one of the better runs I have ever seen. Let's pray it continues.
  19. Was just coming here to post that it wouldn't surprise me to see him drafted at 30, not my style, but wouldn't surprise me.
  20. After the JPP thing last year, I don't think that you will see that very much anymore.
  21. Then let's talk football big guy. What do you want to break down?
  22. Did you see those last two posts of mine?
  23. Then this, from the same thread. Derek Wolfe will be the best defensive lineman on the field.Von Miller will be the best linebacker. Denvers pass rush and cornerbacks are on another level. Just because Carolinas is talked about by the media as being comparable doesn't mean it is true. Carolinas hasn't carried a team through the toughest conference in the league. Denvers defense is the star here.
  24. Yup, for about 11 years. Below is one of the first things I came across over there.... I would like to see some support for the best DL duo in the league for Carolina? Broncos NTSly Willams - 24 tackles, 3 sacksPanthers NTStar louei - 22 tackles 1 sackHere is Dwan Ewards - 13 tackles 1 sack. Also Kyle love at 19 tackles 3 sacks. What am I missing?
