This is untrue. While you may try to say that the .223 does more internal damage than a .38 or 9mm...that would be true, but that's comparing apples to bus tires. The .223 is a rather wimpy rifle cartridge to be honest. It's a popular round because it's accurate, cheap, easy to shoot, and can be found anywhere.
