I've gone back to pre 70/80's style cooking for the most part. I use lard, real butter, save bacon grease, etc....very little refined sugar, and not scared to deep fry any longer. Lost a ton of weight.

I didn't intend for them to be back to back, as she used them to flavor every veggie she consumed. Used lard, tons of salt, lived to 90.

It certainly was at my Grandmothers house. Along with Molasses, Collard Greens, Ham Hocks and Drop Biscuits. Woman was country as the day is long.

I had ideas until I saw the 20 month old thing...yea that changes quite a bit in that town. What part are you staying in?

Somehow how, we have drafted two QB's no. 1 overall in our brief history. Both of them from the SEC. Both of them Heisman winners. Both won college National Championships. And somehow, their games couldn't be any further from each other. Was discussing this on draft night.

Came in to post this. Miles is a very good back, and should be a joy to watch in the screen game, which I love. If Thielen can stay healthy, I think we are in for a fun offense, and Hurst could pop...wouldn't shock me.

Young, other top QBs have "odd" meeting with Tom Brady
thefuzz replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
Complete and total POS. His inability to be a man is absolutely disgusting to me. -
Tea leaves certainly looked that way to me...maybe Kraft asked him to stay after Brady left to boost team value? He's up there as well.

Panthers release Jacob Eason and Preston Williams
thefuzz replied to Dorian Gray's topic in Carolina Panthers
I too hope they give him an honest look, he's young, and under contract already, may as well see what he's got at camp. -
Bingo. I figured out past 30, it's best for me not to sit down much, other than required amounts at work....pounds were piling up with little change to diet. Easiest thing for me to do was to close the computer, turn off the tv, and well...start moving. Now I don't stop....ever. Went from being a "little fluffy" to downright thin. At college weight now. Don't love traditional means of "working out", so I work. Building sheds, buildings, decks, bump out walls with fireplaces, planting gardens and trees, power washing, etc...

The coldest Winter I ever spent was a Summer in San Fransisco. And to the people saying SF or Charlotte? Well, for me, it's Charlotte, but in this case Charlotte isn't really Charlotte...it's likely a penthouse in Charlotte and a Mansion on the water on Lake Norman. I'm taking the penthouse, the lake house, the weather and the lower taxes.

Thats where I don't get it.... Brady is moving on....why not do the same and go spend the time with your wife and kids that you haven't had in the past 40 years? Maybe you hate your wife and kids, or maybe they hate you, but gosh, I hope I'm never in that spot.

Man, I gotta be honest, ego is something that is very foreign to me, at least once you have proven yourself. At some point, what's left to prove? Just go enjoy what little time you have left with your family and friends.

As to losing the OC or DC? Doubtful after this season, but if so, it's because we did really really well. Two years of showing off their stuff, and getting the Panthers to their 1st ever back to back winning seasons? Yea, I'd wager a little on it then.

Starting to wonder just how much longer Bill is going to be up in New England? Were I in his shoes, retirement would have been pretty high on my "to do list" after the last couple seasons.
-
Less than 6 wins and someone may lose their job, although I doubt it, if we stay somewhat healthy that is. Team will likely start a little rough and come on a little later in the year. A close to .500 record would be a good thing. 10 wins would be a great thing.

No clue, but JH is a more dominate player on defense. BB is a good to great pass rusher, but he certainly struggles vs. the run, and is a bit too small to be able to move all over the place ala Peppers. JH is an All Pro level talent, BB is a Pro Bowler, IMO.
-
An absolute player, our best on defense right now, and I don't think it's close. He's an aggressive tackler, he's gonna get banged up...is what it is. We do need a better no. 2 though, just for that reason alone.

Said that very thing for years. Yes, Brady is very good. Yes, Bill is very good. That can be said, and also ask a simple question. Who was the best QB not named Brady to play in the AFCE during his two decades there? And how long did he play? Been a while since I thought much about it, but I believe I remember it being Chad Pennington, and only for a couple years. Thats some serious ineptitude.

May not be one of Hurts' stronger points? I mean, we had certain things that we didn't do very often with Cam. Who knows, or maybe it's just the offense? Either way, I think that the offense in general should take a pretty big leap this season, at worst, it should look like a normal offense that knows what they are doing. I expect to see very good game plans this season.

Very weird to see Smitty mentoring/trying to mentor these guys. That dude was like a damn pit viper in the WR room his entire career.
