I think we will see a steady creep up I-40 toward Raleigh over the next 20 years...Wilmington has become VERY expensive to live in...and you can't really expand normally like most towns in NC...you are forced to go in only 2.5 directions.

My town hasn't changed much...day in and day out it's very similar to when I lived there growing up...drugs have gotten worse, but that seems everywhere. It's about to boom in the next 20 years just due to Wilmington's growth. I see some potential there over the next 5 years for some development in housing...I may be getting my nose in there on that.

Strangely, a lot of the millionaires I know are assholes, the billionaires are not....go figure. I don't think Tepper is an asshole, I think he's an idiot.

Why? Because he's rich? I'm in a business where I'm constantly meeting with and dealing with folks who are millionaires many times over, and a few are billionaires....I am consistently shocked at how they may understand one thing really well...they are not very smart when it comes to anything else in their lives. Being rich doesn't make you smart.

I come from a small NC town, less than 4,000 I'm pretty sure. Left when I was 17, only went back for a very short time...the folks that stayed...some are in good shape...most are not. There are days when I miss small town life, but there simply isn't enough to do to keep kids (boys) from getting into trouble.

Yup. I actually thought to myself the other day it was time to start breaking that out again....I do think that things are going to get pretty bad over the next 2 years....people are going to need to learn to cut back. If you are spending almost all you have every week/month/year....that's NOT good.

Somewhat agree...I just am not going to make a trip to Sams to buy a roast chicken that I can make at home for the same amount of money and not have to get in the car....plus, mine is better. Boston butts....yup...100% agree. Then pull it put in individual baggies and freeze it...make it in two or four sammich quantities....great BBQ after a few in the oven or microwave. You do NOT need an expensive smoker to make good pulled pork.

I kinda get that... Do many fans go to all 8/9 home games? That is a tremendous amount of time. I live in SE NC, I typically go to more away games than home games.

I'm not disagreeing with you...our 1st's have been just OK since Luke was drafted...with the exception of CMC who has now been hurt for 2 seasons. However, the Rams things isn't a good comparison...IMO. They have a desirable location (not for me), dollars to be made off field, great weather, a great head coach, and a track record of being pretty damn good over the last few years. We don't have much of that except for the weather.

DJ has been good, not great, but that's fine, he wasn't in the top 5 or 10. Brown and Burns have been underwhelming. Jury is still out on Horn, but he seems like a player.

I don't think so either, but it's the only way that I would be interested. This years 1st and 3rd, and two quality starters may get them somewhat interested...but who knows? I don't want us to do it, but sounds like we are hell bent.
