Panthers terminating Rock Hill project agreements
thefuzz replied to Dorian Gray's topic in Carolina Panthers
So what does "society need to hold him accountable" for? I don't understand? So far, the only folks who should be held accountable, are the politicians who wanted to play footsie with a shrewd billionaire. Again, we know Tepper is a piece of garbage, why did the town want to play ball with him? -

For what exactly though with this situation? What has he done illegally? This is what happens when private companies, and the public do business. This all goes away if the politicians are held accountable. Poof...and it's gone. Tepper is a piece of crap, but we knew that before....Rock Hill played a dangerous game, and it's going to backfire on them. PSSSSSST...politicians, stop giving rich people tax payers money. -
When Icky talks, you can tell he loves being out there. Hell, I got no problem doing something because you are good at it, and they pay you well...no problems at all....I do that at my job. But there is a difference you can see if they love it.

No thank you.

When I hear this, and see it...the only thing that makes sense is that he doesn't really love to play the game he does it because he's good at it, and he can get paid to do it. Nothing wrong with that, but I'd rather have the guy who loves the game even if a touch less talented than someone who does it just because he's a big athletic guy.

I think that he will be very scheme dependent, but he could do OK...Kirk is a pretty good example of about where I think he could end up. I'm not high on any of the QB's this year though, and especially not in the top 10.

I thought I remembered him not being great during interviews, but you can't trust anyone during that timeframe in the NFL or media. I wasn't a big fan of his, but I do like him more than Willis...I probably prefer Pickett or Corral to both though.

I agree with this. He was, IMO the very best Panther player that we have had (in their prime). There have been some great ones, and a few flashes in the pan, but Luke was the best player on the field almost every single time he was out there. That's wild.

So Hurney to say those words as well...turn it off, I've seen enough... LOL, like he was ever a film guy anyway. Couldn't scout for poo.
-
Ready to see him back...kinda excited about this young man.

Moving the chains may be eliminated soon.

Kinda where I was going. The tech is there, the will is not. -
Is There Anyone Other Than a T or QB for the Panthers at #6
thefuzz replied to Michael G's topic in Carolina Panthers
If the tackles are gone, one of the Edge's drop, we can't find a trade back partner...I could see it...not likely to happen...IMO. -
Lets hope that much defense goes in front of us.

How dangerous is Willis as a runner? What makes him special?
thefuzz replied to micnificent28's topic in Carolina Panthers
This is my issue with him as well. Probably a good kid, and a great athlete...but that doesn't make a good to great NFL QB. If we go with him, it will shock me. -
Pouncey?

I agree with this notion. With less practice time, training camp, and hitting in general, you need to make sure you have players...not prospects. I think that's what we are seeing with the WR's getting huge numbers...nobody knows if these guys will translate, so pedigree and experience seems like it will be more and more important. Look at San Fran...they are still having to hold Jimmy due to Trey needed a redshirt season or two...I think we are heading away from that type of team building.

Borrow money and pay it if needed...if you challenge, she can take you to the cleaners, or kiss your 50/50 goodby...the court may severely limit your custody. She's being nice to you....accept that.

Rooney's. Then the rest fall well below that.

KC looking to trade up into top 10.
thefuzz replied to DaveThePanther2008's topic in Carolina Panthers
Has to be for OL or WR. My hunch, with Mahommes signed for so long, and for so high, they need blue chip players on rookie deals...especially OL and WR. -
Man, I really hope we go Tackle and not try to make up for past mistakes...although I would totally understand the rational. I just think a bookend T to go with Moton would benefit this team for at least 4 more years.

I think they could possibly be open to the Giants swap if a particular QB or LT slips....say they are over the moon for Neal, and Pickett...one of them slides to 5 they swap....if both are gone, they hold on and move on. Who knows, but they certainly have a player or two they are in love with...IMO
