  1. This offseason felt like a little more Fitt and a little less Matt. We shall see.
  2. I don't believe that at all, like not even for a moment.
  3. Totally agree. It's not the end all, nor nothing. It's just another useful tool in the tool box. IMO there are certain positions that it's likely a little more useful than others: QB, MLB, C, and TE...but QB is more important than the others.
  4. I'll watch the top 10, then promptly go to bed.
  5. If we have him graded as a top flight OT, especially that can play on the left, don't overthink it, pull the lever, and wrap up that position for 10 years barring injury. We need to quit messing around with a position that is so incredibly valuable.
  6. Jesus, if true, this trainwreck just won't slow down. I had to assume that Tepper had stripped him of personnel by this point.
  7. Oh, totally agree...with everything but the pick part. I think that job may have been taken from Rhule...but obviously that's just a hunch. Jimmy G or Baker will likely be here, and knowing Rhule...it's probably Jimmy, unfortunately.
  8. My preferred route is take the T, and ride it out with Sam. Rhule and Co. made their bed, time to sleep in it. Tired of throwing assets away just to achieve more mediocrity and a smaller war chest.
  9. https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/which-nfl-head-coaches-are-on-the-hot-seat-these-eight-have-reason-to-worry/ar-AARNFWm https://sports.yahoo.com/with-urban-meyer-gone-which-nfl-coaches-are-now-on-the-hottest-seat-161925604.html I'm just saying...that took me 10 seconds. He's on the hotseat, and he had taco bell for lunch.
  10. He looks as good as any T I have ever seen in getting to the second level and just smearing guys on the defense...he's a mauler, that can move like a pass protector. Smooth operator. Drafted at 5.
  11. Dude...he's on the hotseat...I'm not sure how that can possibly be debated, if he's not been told playoffs or fired...then Tepper is worse than I imagined. And that saying a lot.
  12. The rates should have been creeping up since 09, but because of bad policy, our economy has not been able to withstand that increase....so here we are...inflation city, and we need to blast rates up to slow the inflation. Stupid Politicians. Either way, with so many purchasing over the past 9 years, and at good rates, I think we see a slowing of the market....a lot...but not homes falling in price, at least not like 07-11. Obviously location is key there.
  13. Drafting a QB and developing him over the next year or two to be your guy for the next 10. Vs. Needing to win this season, no matter what, or you lose your job...possibly mid season.
  14. LOL. If we got Icky...that's exactly what I was hoping they do. Let the new coaching staff have these picks next year.
  15. I'd be OK with Cross for sure, any QB in the top 15 would make me even less interested in the team. We need to stop pussyfooting with the LT position...just get one.
  16. Agreed. Which means he's going 1 pick in front of us...like the last two drafts.
  17. Never wanted yet another defensive minded HC when the league was moving so quickly toward the passing game. Now we have a coach who preaches running the football and playing great defense...where have I heard that before in Panther Land? Oh, and then hires a passing game coordinator as his first OC.
  18. Was thinking last night about a couple things, one being OT, QB, and DE...and the importance of each of those positions in todays NFL. I think that giving up two 1's for either of these positions, if you feel very strongly about the player, is likely a smart move for the more forward looking teams. I think that Philly or New Orleans may have a plan to move up for one of these really good tackles...and I think it's probably a smart move these days, especially if you have an upward trajectory team on your hands.
  19. I think that it's possible he goes 1 overall due to just that. Jax is gonna want to run the ball to take some pressure off of Trevor...Icky could certainly be the pick for them.
  20. Tepper was following a well worn path, as were the politicians. Both sides know it's not well received by the taxpayers, and neither care. One holds a responsibility to the populace, the other does not. Politicians have a REAL hard time saying no, and voters have no problem putting these losers into office time and again, only to further waste the taxpayer money. I have had an issue with this for as long as it's been happening, have always said...just say no.
