Would you welcome back Star Lotulelei.....

I mean, does he have much left in the tank? But sure, as a rotational NT, I'd be in if he is. -
I live in Wilmington...so yea, but my family has been drinking this water since it was first introduced into the supply...hasn't really affected us, that I can tell, but my wife hates hour tap water so the RO was a LOT cheaper than gallons or bottles all the time. Good luck.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00MU20LN2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I bought this one a couple years ago, and did the install myself...took about 45 minutes. Have not tested the water out of it, but it sure does taste better.

We have a few good pieces here and there, but IMO we don't have good enough coaching to scare other teams with said pieces. If CMC stays healthy, Icky is what we hope he is, Baker can be decent, and the defense can stop the run, we have a shot at a wild card...if not, we start over again next season with an entirely new coaching staff, and possible front office.

I'm always wondering how we do it so bad, and the Steelers and Ravens do it so good? I mean, I know most of the answer, and it goes with bad coaches and bad GM's....but man. I mean, those teams, especially the defenses, compete (for the most part) year in year out, so frustrating.

No doubt. You can kinda get away with it just due to Manning being the best QB I've ever seen. That said, he should have a LOT more rings, and likely would have it they were to have focused a bit more on that side of the ball. Fast is great if you have a high powered offense, when you have our offense, it just means that offensive coaches on the on the other team really don't need to game plan against us.

Rhule built the Colts defense from the Manning years.

https://www.profootballnetwork.com/qb-power-rankings-2020/ https://www.nfl.com/news/qb-index-ranking-the-59-starting-quarterbacks-of-the-2020-nfl-season Mind you, I don't go off these rankings, nor did I ever look this up before posting that IMO he is a top 15 QB in the NFL. This was from 2020, before he got hurt, and played that way. You do you though, I'll just go with what I saw.

I'm not talking about Teppers decision to keep MH, no reason to discuss it further, he is what we have for 22/23.
-
We have, currently enough talent on the roster to keep us out of the top 4 or 5. We don't have a lot of draft capitol to try to move up to get to the top 2 or 3. We need to see if Rhule is worth bringing back, if he can't make the playoffs with Baker, we will know that he's not and the whole thing starts over.
-
Dalton was a top half of the league QB in Cincy. I remember his game really well. I think Baker has a little more talent, and a lot more balls. Let's see if we can keep him on script.
-
Believe what you will. I think that Baker is a top 15 QB in the league, something we haven't had in 5 or 6 years, and that we can be moderately competitive with him under center. I do not think that Sam would allow this team to get to 8 wins. Unless you are wanting to tank, or have Rhule fall flat on his face to make sure that he is fired, this move put the team in a better situation.

Been away from my computer for a week (that was nice) been thinking on this trade a bit. Not a fan. However, that just means I'm not a fan of yet another "starting QB" for the Panthers, not so much the compensation or the player. That said, I think Baker is a top half of the league starter right now (if healthy). We have not had one of those in a LONG time. If our defense can figure things out, if McAdoo can build an offense around a QB he didn't know he was going to coach until July 4th, if Rhule can just stop making stupid decisions, I think this could be a playoff team in a weak NFC. We will need good luck (health), and to be able to be competitive every game at home, and most games away, and we could sneak in as a wild card. 1 more move that I would like to see happen, and I haven't thought much about who this person may be, but I would love at least one adult in the QB room. I know that's McAdoo's job, but maybe move Sam, and bring in a longtime backup or something. I just think that it's worth trying to bring Coral up with somewhat of a steady environment around him....because what he has right now is anything but.

Most Underrated Player on Every NFL Team
thefuzz replied to kungfoodude's topic in Carolina Panthers
DJ. It's known he's "good" when actually he's better than that. If he had competent QB play...even something like Jake, he would be higher on lists. -
Average is what I see. If we can stop the run a little better we may have a top 12 D. We are gonna struggle to get sacks and to stop the run if I had to guess.
-
Agreed...just a really fun movie to watch.

There are certainly parts of Texas I'd rather live than Charlotte....Houston isn't one of them, but it could just be a good change of scenery. Or more likely, the observer is crap.
-
He's better at football than I have been at pretty much anything in my life...getting drafted is huge, starting at USC...going in the top 5 etc.... Most QB's simply don't work at the next level...no matter where you draft them. It's just the hardest position to play in all of sports...and what not.
-
This is the issue with Sam...he CAN make all kinds of throws....but doesn't do it consistently.

I live at the beach. I'm sitting about 100 yards from a tee box. I grew up in the 80's and 90's. Courses close by me would let the younger folks play for free or very close to it. You had to walk, but who cares. They were trying to promote the courses, sell some Coke's and get you hooked on golf so they had a revenue stream going forward. Again, this was all talking about not having to be RICH to play golf or be good at it, but I understand that my experience with golf is different.

What went wrong? The Sam Darnold Experiment (Video)
thefuzz replied to CarolinaLivin's topic in Carolina Panthers
That's what caught the NFL's eye 4 years ago...he's a very talented thrower of the football, and a heck of an athlete.....he just struggles with the "other stuff" needed to play QB in the NFL. He can make some wow throws.....can. -
Fed has been screwing us for 50+ years. That said, they don't have any options here. It's a likely recession, and inflation....meaning Stagflation is here once again. Buckle Up.

How often have you been around golf? How often do you golf? You are describing your experience with golf, and me mine. There were 4 cheap/free courses within 15-20 miles of where I grew up, as a kid, you could play them for free or close to it...they wanted future players and members...why not get the kids hooked young? I chose not to play much back then, enjoyed other sports, but it was there...and when I was in high school...again, I chose not to play for the school team, but could have for "free" once again. Then I took a $9.00 per hour job (first job out of college) working closely with a golf and housing development...again, all the golf I could play...free. I'm not saying that my experience isn't unique, my entire point is that you absolutely DO NOT have to be RICH to be good at golf. The best player I knew growing up didn't own a pair of golf shoes until he was on the high school team...he played semi pro after high school.
