Our defense has caused a lot of that unhappiness
-
See above. The results are the same. It was an opportunity cost that we are losing so far.
-
Glad we don't have Ridder.
-
I respect that, and from some perspective I agree, but the result is basically the same: too much draft capital spent for a player not getting it done.

Jaycee Horn is made of glass. He sounded like a good idea at the time. His body has basically betrayed him his entire career. It may be time to think about his long term viability.
-
Yep. Not impressed with his clock management at all.
-
That was bound to happen. Anyone should've taken that bet.
-
It was a bad play call.
-
It wasn't Chubacs fault. The Falcons line got hella push before he even got to it. That's why he had to hesitate to look for a hole.
-
I wish I wouldn't have played him, now I can't really release him until Tuesday.
-
That's debatable. He has looked good in any event.

I did also. I hope he gets a big catch and run in the second half. Damn. I know that there was some speculation about a snap count. Honestly, I hope that's the reason he hadn't done sh¡t so far.

The Athletic: Insight to Brian Burns Contract

He has elite traits, but he's no Bosa right now, or even Watt. -

I understand what you're saying, but the market is the market. It's his turn to get, perhaps, overpaid by a little bit, but not a lot. His age and potential is unfortunately a factor. All we can do is hope that he reaches his potential. -

Burns absolutely does NOT deserve Bosa money. He should NOT complain about Crosby money. That's basically in the ballpark where he needs to be.- 143 replies

Leave your emotions at the door about Burns... it's a BUSINESS

Not sure why anyone would be mad at him playing out the 5th year (or not), but I'm not grossly overpaying for his services just because he feels that he has the team over a barrel. The fifth best money in the league at his position seems about right. It's "fair" in my opinion. -
He wasn't as excited as when we traded for THE Baker Mayfield.

I never took issue with you saying that we're going to win X amount of games, I just disagree with you that it should be some litmus test on Fitterer and company's future viability.
-
But he didn't.
-
You're comparing apples to oranges though. They were two totally different situations with two different contexts. I don't think it's necessarily stupid to have your position, and I'll excuse you for seemingly lashing out by trying to incorrectly characterize giving rational reasons as to why Fitterer shouldn't have been fired as stupid. The fact is that both positions are rational, but I still believe that your position is ill-advised considering the context. Scott Fitterer was not the man in charge, no matter what mental gymnastics you are using in order to insinuate that he was. Of course after Rhule was fired, the dynamics changed.
