  1. I hate to tell y'all, but I've heard all this poo before. Let's just wait and see what happens. It's about that time for trade movement.
  2. I think that he was referring to "people," not you. Personally, I don't care what people think Highins is or isn't, he's too expensive to consider for us at the moment.
  3. The play calling was refreshing to see also. I wish it was on our side.
  4. I'm not saying that the-sky-is-falling squad ain't right about Young's physical tools, but what I am saying is that we haven't really seen enough to even know. We haven't seen many clean pockets, we haven't seen crisp route running, and we certainly haven't seen good play calling. Bryce has missed a few, but some of that is simply timing and chemistry issues. Yet and still, there has been improvement from one game to the next, regardless if people want to put blinders on or not. It's a shame that people don't want to acknowledge these things and would rather make a constant flow of negative generalizations, but that's the way of the Huddle these days.
  5. Whatever you say...as long as it makes you feel better. It's really not even worth arguing.
  6. You're full of it. On what planet is this about what I want? Young QBs need experience, period, that's the ONLY way that most of them get materially better. It would be beyond stupid to start your first round pick, and then after six games go back to a journeyman who isn't good enough (that's why he's a journeyman), unless you're giving up on your guy. You make no sense whatsoever.
  7. 20th highest paid TE. It's not like we broke the bank. Honestly, bhis contract is in line with what other average TEs are making. We probably should've kept what we had if you look at the play calling, and let him go somewhere else...not because of his play, but because we haven't really haven't gotten him involved save for the first game.
  8. Richardson is gone. My pick was the Fanatics guy, but we have Tepper. I really don't think bringing up a man who has departed is apropos to anything.
  9. Reich needs to be fired, and Andy Dalton isn't going to save him. It's way more important for Young to get experience than to let Dalton play and lose anyway.
  10. That's debatable, but he isn't really being used, so...
  11. I don't know what to tell you...well, I'd rather get rid of Reich.
  12. I'm not going to defend the Sanders signing, but I've also been the one telling y'all that Chuba needed the opportunity. Hurst? He was only a Band-Aid anyway. Under Reich's system, we don't need a great TE anyway because we'll throw to the TE2 and 3. Seriously, Hurst is what he is, and his contract reflects that.
  13. We need some talent, but it's not like we don't have any. We need help on the lines, a WR1, a TE and LB help among other things. Fitterer is not great, but he isn't dog sh¡t either in regards to personnel. I think that his worst job is at trade evaluation.
  14. That remains to be seen. It's too early to even think about it.
  15. You see Bryce improving, and yet you're calling for Dalton on a 0-6 team. That's just ludicrous.
  16. Bryce needs to learn how to chuck the ball away when that pressure is coming and you have no where to go with the football.
  17. I agree there. Honestly, that's his m.o. He might get a sack later in the game, but that's about it. Tua has had way too much time today.
  18. Reich should have called run plays on the third and one. Bryce had absolutely nothing to do with that.
  19. The timing was just off. I think that with more experience with his guys that he'll get better.
  20. Don't understand why we ran on first and second and then threw on 3rd and 1
  21. Yep Sanders is being the one pushed, even though he's not as effective.
  22. I told my son they were coming, and they came. Fairly easy sack.
