Bryce never had a cannon. We all knew that before he was drafted. That wasn't his strength (no pun intended).

No one ever said that Bryce was perfect. All we've said is that he's a rookie playing in an imperfect situation and really haven't seen an offense, route running, or protection that would play to his strengths (as little or as weak as some think that they may be).

I certainly haven't given up on Mingo. He's a rookie. I think that our guys would actually look a helluva lot better if we had a legit 1. I also don't believe for a minute that Reich's play calling has helped any of them. TMJ, though disappointing in general, has taken a step back, but he isn't really even being used. Maybe a lot of it's his fault, but you never know. Chark has looked a helluva lot better in other offenses.

Who is a Tepper apologist? Who? The honeymoon has been over. But, what I will say is that constantly crying about it and starting threads about how Tepper needs to sell the team is pretty useless. What Tepper needs to do is get his act together and let someone run football operations who has infinitely more knowledge about developing a winning franchise than he does.

I'm not dinging him because of his situation. He's doing his job, and he's doing it well. Other receivers wouldn't be, and honestly aren't as good of a route runner as Thielen has been over his career. The transition from the outside to the slot has been seamless. It's exactly how you want to do it. Hats off to him!
