  1. Oh, OK. I assumed the rating in the first pic was QBR (which 90-something is good), but it's actually passer rating. Of course the NFL developed the passer rating, while ESPN developed QBR. The only thing about QBR is that we don't know exactly what it's measuring.
  2. All of these guys are still young, and the positions take time to develop.
  3. I would think that there would be a conflict of interest somewhere. This story is unbelievable by the way.
  4. Even a couple of analysts said that it looked like Reich gave Dalton a different playbook than Bryce. More than a few have said that Reich needs to take the training wheels off Young. I think that we'll get a lot of answers as to who is right and who is wrong by season's end. But questions will begin to be answered once Brown opens up his playbook.
  5. I mean, that's the game. He was already in the top spot (even Houston's), so why should he have hurt that? The world already knew that he wasn't in their league physically. I'm not gonna argue his pro day. Scouts had been scouting him for years. It's not a Zach Wilson case where people became enamored over a few passes during his pro day sending his stock skyward. Bryce's stock was already off the charts, and, sure, his football IQ was a marked reason why.
  6. I'd rather just put you on ignore. It will make my Huddle experience so much better.
  7. You know, I don't have to listen to your lying bullshit. You're a troll, and that's how I'm going to treat you.
  8. And, that's not supporting Tepper, that's stating the obvious. Who gives a flying fug about Tepper's failed business agreement with Rock Hill. That's hardly even football related. It's not materially important to the successful operation of a football team. There's plenty of stuff to talk about and be upset with Tepper about that directly speaks to why we're sucking right now (like hiring Matt Rhule and giving him full control) than his fuging vanity project in Rock Hill. You lied. And you're still lying. You really lied about D.J. Moore too, but that's more arguable (but, I hated him so much that I drafted him on my fantasy team). Here, it's not arguable. I was never a Tepper apologist, and your insinuation that I was is a flat out lie.
  9. Unlike you Young bashers, I'm not afraid to admit anything. Young has looked skiddish out there, but it's not because he can't throw deep, it's because he's a rookie whose head is still spinning and who needs to learn and adjust to the speed of the game. The play calling hasn't done him (or any of our guys) any favors really. The protection hasn't been the greatest, which is also causing him to run around like a chicken with its head chopped off, and that's also made Bryce gun shy and prone to some dumb mistakes. He's made some mistakes from the beginning, like throwing two INTs in basically the same fashion to the same guy, and trying to get away instead of chucking the ball out of bounds, and I'm sure that hasn't helped his confidence either. There's more, but with all that, he seems to be getting more comfortable, protecting the ball better and slowly learning what he can and can't get away with at this level. With more experience, line play and schemes to get other receivers more involved, hopefully we'll see more improvement.
  10. I showed the Huddle what I said about Rock Hill and Tepper in the other thread. You're a liar. Until you admit you lied, that's what I'll think of you as.
  11. And you're a liar, again. Just be a man, admit you lied and strive to do better.
  12. Hell, you could use that same logic for any QB that has ever come out of college. Perhaps you should change your argument to "Bryce Young can't throw deep against NFLers."
  13. Salty ain't the word when someone basically tries to lie on you, but anyway you said what you said without qualification.
  14. You obviously don't understand the concept of suspect coaching, awful play calling and a porous line having a limiting effect. No context whatsoever.
  15. What does Jim Rome say? Don't confuse not having done something with not having the ability to do it.
  16. Why? You already said this very night that he can't throw deep.
  17. I already told them this with basically the same evidence. You're wasting your time. The naysayers think there's something magical about an NFL field vs. a college one.
  18. I think it would take more than that. A first and a third would be just another failure in Fitterer's cap. He has got to get more value than that. I would think about a one & two grudgingly.
  19. Perhaps he's just a slow starter. Perhaps it's simply learning to thrive in a new system. Perhaps he needed to develop some working chemistry with new faces next to him. I think that he started turning the corner against the Seahawks where he blocked pretty well but had all those penalties. He's still a work in progress, but I think he'll be fine.
  20. And, like I said, the honeymoon has been over a long time ago. Unlike some posters, I generally don't come out and make definitive statements about someone right off the bat. I give them time to develop a record. Some people want immediate results, and that's not how this thing works. Ironically, if Tepper wasn't so impatient, the Panthers just might have better results than what's gone on since 2018. Now stop embellishing my posts, basically attributing poo to me that was never true, and we'll get along a lot better.
